I paid $47.00 dollars for three platters got home and tasted this nasty behind food…Ah wah dis? Who seasoned this? It’s nothing but salt. No All Spice! The Curry Sauce was bland and soupy…like there was no coconut milk added just water. No Potatoes. The greens taste like SALT! In fact the entire meal is riddled with SALT!! It was salt in everything!! This Mac and Cheese is a HELL NO! I’m so disappointed this was our favorite spot for like 20+ years but I won’t be ordering here anymore. I can see why the lady at the front as eating TACOS!! If they don’t eat their own food why should we? We’re gonna order pizza.

I’ve been going here for a while, but this food has gotten considerably worse. The lady behind the counter is cool . Tonight I went and spent $21 on straight trash. A dried out cooked very hard piece of red snapper, a little bit of rice with ketchup on it , and steamed broccoli with no seasoning that I could’ve made waaay better at home. I’m done . Won’t be “ talking” about Talk of the Town no more . DISGUSTING !!!! Addendum: lady behind counter was cool & gave refund without a word. In all fairness usually very good, found a pic of what mine was supposed to look like in the reviews below . I’ll attach it .

This was the best Caribbean food I’ve had since living here in Pennsylvania. It tastes just like home. I ordered the escovitch fish, the jerky chicken spicy and the curry chicken. Every side was delicious and could easily stand on its own. Portions were great. I’ll be happy to continue supporting this place.

I typically never write reviews however this was my last time supporting this restaurant. The treatment I recieve as an African American male is absolutely horrendous and unacceptable. Perhaps as a Black man I’m not deserving of courtesy or respect, I suppose that is reserved for those who don’t look like me. Rarely if ever am I greeted with any warmth or professionalism. The women who are frequently at the register all have this dismissive, unbothered attitude that is very off-putting. Even when they make mistakes there is a lack of care and accountabilty and instead I am made to feel as if I did something wrong. Money is too fragile out here to be wasting on disrespectful and unappreciative customer service. Quietly exited and vowed never to come back. Treat people better particularly those who are non-Caribbean and non-white.

There’s a lot to like about this place, the food is great but the service and attitude is not it, some training would help. Also why would they take our fried chicken order requesting oxtail gravy and not let us know they don’t serve oxtail gravy with it because it’s limited. Just be upfront or charge extra for the gravy, but don’t tell us, “everybody and their mother want oxtail gravy!” When customers are spending their money professionalism and respect should always be emanated.

I place my order on the DoorDash website and call the store to tell them I want a big fish and spicy ☺️ and I was well satisfied. They wrote it on my box plate that got me laughing because I even opened my food. Then I saw the beautiful presentation always the best Talk of the Town. Thank you Kerri.☺️

The food was horrible I gave it to my pitbull and this is how much he ate I ordered DoorDash and I regret it the rice was hard the oxtail sauce was disgusting and the Mac was stuck together the yams was disrespectful I suggest If your looking for Jamaican food don’t ever go here or order from here it’s a waste of time and funds respectfully

The food was okay . 6/10 . They didn’t put any jerk sauce on top of the jerk chicken which was very confusing , the macaroni and cheese was clearly made over top of the stove not bake Mac as they advertised and lastly the attitude was the worst. The women were so rude . Constantly making smart remarks to all the customers as we waited for our food . Seems like the one lady was very annoyed because her children were there running around . After reading reviews I saw a lot of people saying they were rude but I still gave it a try . Courtesy and good service sometimes matters more than the food honestly . This was not a good experience at all. I drove 40 mins for this . Wow
