The only perk about the Spirit of Philadelphia is that its a boat on water . Staff is not very informative but they are friendly and try to help. They do what they can but if anyone is actually certified in their fields it does not feel like.
Food is more like boiled options from the back Walmart sections .
I came here as a kid and found it very mesmerizing. I am now a adult and feel like a very important part of me of Philadephia was abandoned and left to some party planners with zero experience and skills.

We paid $360, and two major things happened: the boat never moved, and the DJ wasn’t able to power up the volume from low to high after we had brunch. We still paid full price, but they didn’t deliver. A few people left. This is not the experience I wanted on Valentine’s Day with my mom and wife. Same service, but much cheaper Moshulu.

The staff could have been a bit more accommodating especially for individuals whom this perhaps being there first experience on the Spirit of Philadelphia….there were no instructions on seating, lunch procedure, etc. Also there was no assistance or directions or instructions when certain food items RAN OUT….And if the lunch was paid for prior to boarding, shouldn’t there have been an offer to reimburse a portion of payment when food items were not available? Also, the dishes were not cleaned!!! There was left over residue and food items on certain “clean” plates. The view was beautiful though…The event I attended was catering to a special needs audience and I pray the subpar service and environment wasn’t due to that fact! The crew and workers did not appear very inviting….

Purchased ticket online, it’s a very easy process, I saved a few dollars by getting the ticket on Groupon. The boat boarded on time and we were seated right away. It was exciting walk in, everything was nice and well put together. Food was delicious and the view of the city was perfect! The Dj was a whole vibe and the music was on point.

Very nice experience, food was good drinks was awesome, our waitress by the name of Alina or Elena not sure how she spells her name but she’s a tall lady, she is the best waitress I’ve ever encountered. Super pleasant and helpful. Oh and let me tell you about the view.. it’s unmatched. I would definitely do that this night cruise again in the future.

I was very disappointed in the service that we received on Valentine’s Day night. I have reached out to one of the manager still haven’t gotten any response back, my partner thought this would have been a great Valentine’s Day experience to be on the water I traveled over an hour and a half to get there well ,the boat never took off. We never got any explanation on why the boat never took off nor did they make any announcements as to why the boat was not going to take off. The food was horrible It was just placed out. It was dry mac & cheese carrot spread it out on the table uncovered Some kind of baked chicken and meatballs. We did not eat we were under the impression that we were getting a better meal than what we got “no we didn’t eat” my partner paid over $300 for VIP in got nothing VIP! The lines to the bar was extremely long being they only had one person working the bar This was not a good experience for Valentine’s Day or just in general. it’s not like we were looking for a full refund we were looking for an explanation. I have yet to get a phone call or a text message back from anybody in regards to this 2/20/26

Go for views, not food, it’s $20 for a pretzel after paying over $300 to go. I had coffee & a brownie. The views are amazing & touring the different ends & layers of ship was wonderful!!! Music was not good but luckily not too loud. Seats were excellent but we spent most of the time roaming. Games were great .the guy would not let me use the restroom at one point very strange. Were not allowed on any level inside except main which was strange but outside was wondering just go when it’s not cold. Ship moves at a great speed & you get to see everything. Someone tell Photogenic how wonderful photographer Donovan was, I can not find their website but he was exceptional with his work & customer service.

We had a wonderful time! It was an exquisite celebration! The last minute notification of our waitress discovering is was a celebration was still on point! Thank You, SOP We were seated right behind the podium which was cold. The bathroom was impressively clean. The view was absolutely beautiful

Daughter had a private event with her school for the senior class. IDs were necessary, bags were checked. Cocktail attire was required. Food was good, they had a large selection. There were inside options and the option of viewing the Delaware from the ships deck. From start to finish was around 2 hours. All around great time.

I went on the Spirit of Philadelphia lunch cruise on September 25, 2025. Let me start by saying the food was disappointing and there was not much of a variety. When I was in line to get my lunch the plate’s were dirty. I asked for new plates and was given paper plates. The dessert table was not worth leaving your seat for. The only good that came out of the cruise was our waiter Spencer. I was very disappointed all around.
