We stopped in for a drink to watch a Sunday game and met the owner/chef. After speaking with him about one of his specials of the day and offering to make it for us thee next evening we made a reservation for the following day. We shared the Lobster tempura appetizer which was delicious then shared a broiled seafood platter over risotto which was cooked perfectly and the crab & shrimp fried rice. A perfect last meal during our stay in St. Michael’s.

We love Talbot Street Tavern. Jason at the bar is very personable, the beer is ice cold and the food is consistently great! The Crab & Shrimp Fried Rice is our go to – it’s amazing! Cheers to Chef Mauricio – we’ll be back again soon!

Decent restaurant. The swordfish was delicious as were the brussels. The coleslaw tasted like it was sort of on its way to spoiling so we didn’t eat it but the portion sizes of everything were big and plenty.
The spinach salad was very fresh. Initially they brought me out chicken as my protein but I told the food runner I don’t eat meat and had ordered the crabcake so she quickly fixed the mistake. The crabcake had plenty of crab meat and little filler but it was slightly undercooked so I just ate around the undercooked areas. Overall it had good flavor.

this restaurant had unique and delicious choices to order with great service. we ordered the ahi tuna and pretzel appetizer with the lobster mac and cheese, short rib, and salmon entree. all of these dishes came in nice portions and pretty flavorful.

The staff here is beyond amazing!!! We were staying by on a Sunday evening and didn’t realize all the restaurants close by 9. After making a few calls the bartender at Talbots said he could have our meal ready when we got there since their kitchen was closing in a few minutes. When we arrived he was so welcoming and got us our drinks and dinner. The short ribs and crab & shrimp fried rice was delicious. He made great suggestions and saved from getting take out pizza from out of town. Even the Chef came out to check how we enjoyed our dinner. The staff was very friendly & I would 100% recommend going there if you are in St.Michaels

My husband and I went to dinner last night at the Talbot Tavern and had an incredible time! Our servers, dinners and company were outstanding!!!! We are definitely going back!!!!

OMG Mauricio and his stuff was AMAZING…. Very loving and caring staff. Had a surprise party for my dad. Mauricio the owner stayed connected with me from the time I called with idea (weeks prior )til the end of party.. The set up was beautiful and ALL the food was delicious.. Thank you so much for EVERYTHING and making our experience a unforgettable memory.. We will be back !

This was a great way to end the night in St. Michael’s.
When we first arrived, it was a bit noisy but as the bar cleared out the noise went down drastically. We started off with shishito peppers which were great, followed by a massive freshly made pretzel with beer cheese sauce. This was so good that we made sure to get an extra cheese sauce when we took the rest of the pretzel to go. For dinner, I got the prime rib cooked medium rare which tasted great and came with an au-jus sauce and mashed potatoes and asparagus. One thing I must note was that the asparagus wasn’t stringy and was cooked well. We also got the oyster po boy which was great, but lacking a sauce which was no big deal. We also got the crab cakes which were good and you could tell they were made fresh. If you’re looking for a good place for dinner, let this be it.

Chef Mauricio catered my daughter’s Bridal Shower Brunch. So delicious. Everyone raved about the food. He was awesome to work with so kind and helpful. Our family and friends enjoy meeting up at Talbot St. Tavern, the food is amazing, staff is so nice, and the atmosphere is comfortable.

Jason the bartender/server was amazing! He was there for all 3 visits we made to the tavern and was very welcoming.
I missed pictures of our pizza and burger and pasta but all were great! Pictured is the crab dip which was good, I was thrown off at the crackers served with it but was able to get tortilla chips. The fry board is awesome!!
It comes with sweet potato fries, shoestring fries and tater tots with a boom boom, sriracha ketchup and chipotle mayo. The cheesesteak eggrolls were very good and served with the sriracha ketchup. Atmosphere was great and so was the location of the Main Street. Hope to see you stay and come back in March.
