With all Honesty. Food is good, and it is a nice environment.
I do think the sushi could have been more detailed. But the kindness and attitude in the restaurant is fantastic. Everyone is kind and that is very appreciated.

My husband and I had dinner at Takumi for the first time yesterday evening. It was an outstanding experience from start to finish! I really wanted to highlight the service from our waiter Adrian. He was kind, attentive, and personalized our experience in a way that left a lasting impression. The sushi rolls we ordered were delicious, and the miso soup was a standout for me. The restaurant was clean, beautifully decorated, and the atmosphere was really nicely curated. We will absolutely be returning soon and are so excited that this restaurant is nearby!

the best sushi restaurant ive been to in San antonio, I love their all you can eat and you get your monies worth pretty fast. their cocktail menu and happy hour are unique and offer a lot of options. the sashimi was to die for, and I definitely recommend the tempered cheesecake (with ice cream). Daniel was our server, absolutely amazing service and it feels harder ro fjnd genuine hospitality lately. he was very accommodating and friendly, and gave us excellent service regardless of it being a Friday night. Will absolutely be coming here again!

Is it good value for the price and concept yes. But the food quality itself is lackluster. Rolls have no flavor whatsoever. The pink lady roll was sloppy. And to make matters worse they were out of matcha ice cream and diet coke.
The host and helping staff was accommodating but our server was nowhere to be found and gave us attitude. Its all you can eat so it makes sense to check back often for additional orders dont you think?
The sushi took forever despite it not being busy and there being several chefs. I’d make the drive for Umiya for AYCE or better yet go to Sushishima for real sushi.
The ambience is gorgeous though.
I tipped well hoping that was split among the helpful staff who cleaned our table (bus-people?) and runners of food.
Also why bring up a 20% promotion and not give it to clients, lol. Before the management asks why I didn’t speak to a manager, I was trying to flag him down and he ignored me.

The food was phenomenal! Seriously sooo good. I always go to Umiya but it’s a farther drive so I’m so glad they opened up this Takumi near by. The service was great too. All staff were friendly and they cleared plates fast. Food came out at a good pace too. Gene was a pleasure to talk to and Annie was the sweetest person. Will def be back again!!

I don’t know if we’ll be able to go to any other sushi places around town. Takumi sets the bar high. The food was amazing. We never had to wait long after we ordered. Our server Arno was attentive and super friendly! The atmosphere is fun and very clean. I highly recommend you try this sushi place out. We will be coming back again and again. They may get sick of seeing us.

This place offers an all you can eat menu which has sushi, tempura, and much more. I really loved the smoked salmon nigiri as well as the las Vegas roll. These really tasted amazing. I also really enjoyed the appetizer options and even side dishes such as the fried egg noodles.
The presentation of the dishes were also very well thought out. I really did enjoy how the sushi was presented and served.
Overall I had a great experience which is hard to find sometimes. I highly recommend you come and visit this place for an amazing meal along an amazing staff.

I saw a Instagram review on this place and decided to give it a try. We are regulars at Umiya sushi and I can say that we are now going to be regulars here. The restaurant is bright, clean and it smells amazing. The food was 10/10. I was gaging the quality of the food based off the peppered tuna and I can say that it was amazing.
Also, Vania was our server and she was so welcoming and took down my daughter’s name when I told her that we were celebrating her birthday. She had the whole crew singing to her for her birthday and even gifted her a stuffed pink kitty. Highly recommend yall give this place a try. You will NOT be disappointed.

You guys seriously have to get to Takumi immediately. I am actually obsessed. I just finished the Sushi and Sashimi for 1 and it was life-changing. Everything was so fresh it literally melted in my mouth, and that Sunrise roll was unreal. I am still thinking about it.
But honestly, the real star of the night was our server, Raven. She is a literal angel. We were sitting in a booth that felt a little cramped, and she noticed before we even said anything! She moved us to a much better spot just to make sure we were 100% comfortable. She was so incredibly sweet, attentive, and just has the best personality. She seriously treated us like royalty.
The rest of the staff was also amazing and so fast, but Raven really made the night. If you go, you HAVE to ask for her. Best experience of my life, hands down. 10/10, no notes!

To start out our server Sheren was amazing and was on top of everything. With the restaurant being open only 3 week weeks, the servers and runners were very synchronized.
We did the all you can eat which allowed us to try new things. Sheren made sure we got all our food and checked on us periodically.
Sides are smaller with all you can eat but you can order as much as you want.
We will definitely be back.
