Ordered to go fish TAKOS they weren’t that good to me not much flavor. I also ordered asparagus, they were good even though the sauce looked weird it taste like teriyaki and spicy mayo together,I wish they would have separate them. Beans were ok as well they had flavor.But overall it was ok. Maybe experience will be better dinning in the restaurant. I will keep you updated. The service was ok the guy just asked name gave me a thing to pay and bag and walked away.

While visiting Augusta, a friend and I went here for dinner. My friend had been here years ago and thought it was really good.
The tempura asparagus was tasty however the sushi rolls (ordered a few) were sloppily put together and didn’t taste very well. The hot sake was not good either.
The service started off rough but improved and ok overall. Our server did forget one of our appetizers but never charged us for it so not a huge deal, especially considering we did not love the food anyway.
We wanted to enjoy this place but sadly, there are better options for sushi in Augusta.

Love this place! We were visiting Martinez from Charlotte and stopped in for lunch. Service was fantastic and the food was outstanding. If you like sushi, Asian or southwestern cuisine (or better yet, all of them), do your tastebuds a favor and check this place out! Here’s hoping they open a Takosushi in Charlotte!!!

We went here for dinner after not going to takosushi for almost a decade and were pleasantly surprised! The service was phenomenal! We had no wait and our waitress overheard us talking about it being cold in the restaurant and immediately offered to change our table. We wanted to sit outside and they were so quick to bus a table and allow us to move. Throughout the night our waitress was super friendly and attentive—probably the best service I’ve had at a restaurant in a while. I gave the food 4 stars because they’ve changed their menu (it is no longer locally owned and was sold to a corporate chain). I ordered a noodle bowl that was off menu and it was delicious but my husband got a Tako burger “burrito” style and he did not like it at all. It was literally a hamburger patty and cheese wrapped in a tortilla. We tried the tempura asparagus, egg rolls, and dumplings. My husband liked the asparagus but I did not. We both liked the egg rolls and dumplings however I did not like the dipping sauce that came with them. I go the green one sake and it was delicious as well! I also gave the atmosphere 4 stars because sitting outside was really nice and quiet but if you sit inside there felt like there was very little privacy. Part of the reason we wanted to move tables is because we were squeezed right next to another couple in a shared booth style seat and we could hear everything they were talking about and vice versa. Overall though I would consider going here again and it was a very pleasant experience.

We had an amazing time at Takosushi (of Evans)! The “fried asparagus” was incredible as always, and our server Mason was superb. He provided excellent guidance on an updated menu and made us feel right at home. Thank you Takosushi for a great night!

Tried this place for lunch today for the first time. Food was pretty good. Service was great we loved our server.
Unfortunatley our meal was interrupted multiple times by “Mindy” who i assume is some level of manager, repremading her staff on the dining room floor in front of the entire lunch crowd. Really not an inviting atmosphere. Professionals do that kind of thing behind closed doors.

was really disappointed with the service here. The restaurant was nearly empty when I arrived, yet I waited about 20 minutes before I finally had to ask for a waiter just to get drinks. Once the restaurant started to fill up, the service became even slower, not better.
At one point I had to walk to the front myself to ask for chopsticks and bowls, and the waiter responded with a very nasty attitude, which made the experience uncomfortable.
I understand places get busy, but slow service and rude behavior especially when the restaurant isn’t crowded isn’t acceptable. Unfortunately, this visit left a bad impression.

Pretty good place for sushi if you don’t mind a large crowd. I used to love it here, but I think as more people started coming to the restaurant, the quality has gone down. Maybe the chefs are rushed? I honestly don’t know. Don’t get me wrong, it’s definitely my second favorite place in Augusta for sushi. I just remember a few years back when the sushi and the service were upscale. Now the people are still upscale, but the food and service have declined a bit. Maybe the sushi isn’t the focus anymore? I haven’t really tried any of the “fusion” dishes, so that could be my mistake. I’ll give it a while before I try it again.

Nice mix of eastern and western dishes. Service and food were great, we were sat next to a rowdy kid. I get that it happens sometimes but it did impact my dinner a bit.
The calamari and Miki’s sushi roll were great and I will definitely be back!
