The food was good, definitely crowded so some of the orders were incorrect but we are them anyways since the servers were swamped. DESPITE ALL THE SIGNS EVERYWHERE SAYING TO KEEP YOUR CHILDREN SEATED, there were a ton of kids running around all over like a McDonald’s playplace. I felt so bad for the staff having kids run by them while they’re trying to balance a bunch of plates. 5/5 stars for Takoda. -5/5 stars for the customers that brought in their entire baseball team of kids.

I had a birthday party for my husband here this past weekend. Lisa, who helped coordinate everything, was absolutely fantastic and worked with me in every way she could. The service we received with our large group was excellent as well. I feel awful that I cannot remember our servers name, but she was super attentive and sweet. Every person I met or worked with was friendly and helpful. After not getting even a call back from some other places I was looking into, this was such a breath of fresh air. Thanks for making his party special!

We were there at the very beginning of the dinner rush. We sat upstairs but it just feels open and empty. Our waitress was new and was great but it wasn’t busy at all yet so when she wasn’t waiting on us she and the other waitresses stood in the doorway and waited for… people? Good place to have a large group it seems. They have an outdoor roof top area but it was cold and rainy when we went.

Absolutely the best green chili around. We have never had a bad meal, bad service at this tavern. Probably one of the best local places to grab a drink. I absolutely love that they don’t allow children to run around the bar.

Well, my boyfriend and I just left after waiting over 20 minutes for our server to take our drink order after she handed us menus. Not really busy and the constant banging from above us was a nice accent to the music. We asked if there was a bar upstairs and the waitress stated there is but it’s off limits due to a “party”. I made a joke about it possibly being the Illuminati partying above us to try to enlighten the mood, but I don’t think it worked since she dodged us over 7 times as the manager who greeted us in the beginning and told us to sit wherever stood at the bar doing nothing . No thanks . We were gonna order some dank sounding stuff . But nahhhh

Great service, working their tails off, but the food was so bad. Their queso is straight from a can, like 7-11 style, no flavor, no authenticity. Bacon was fatty, chicken was chewy (seemed like very cheap quality meats.) Soda tasted off, I know times are tough but damn. I had only been there once in early 2020 which was a great experience. My husband walked out and shot me death rays with his eyes and said never again. 3 stars for hard workers with a smile.

Good food and great service. We didn’t get to check out the upstairs but I am guessing it is more seating. Had the chief burger and a Takoda Mule. Very good. We will be back.
