The band atmosphere here is fantastic—energetic and fun without being overwhelmingly loud, thanks to the open-air setting. My only small complaints are the dirt and gravel floors, which can make wearing sandals uncomfortable and leave nice shoes a bit dusty. At times the bar gets crowded, so grabbing a drink can take a little patience, and seating can be limited when it’s busy, which is understandable given the crowd. I haven’t tried the food yet, so I can’t comment on that, but overall it’s a great spot to enjoy live music in a lively outdoor environment.

Such an awesome place to grab a margarita and a Taco. The ambiance is perfect if you’re looking for a laid-back key West type of vibe. They also have live bands 6 nights a week, which is a plus!

When I was last there during COVID they were routinely putting other people’s drinks on wrong tabs so I stopped. Then I saw on Facebook that they removed the mandatory entertainment fee for having bands play so I gave it another shot. Never again! A mandatory 20% tip for the loser bartenders and servers. You want to make your establishment better right? Where’s the incentive for good customer service when you make the customer pay without discretion? The tacos now come out in a plastic basket with wax paper so basically it’s a soup of salsa with some little burnt bits spread around. That place needs to be leveled.

Service was great no complaints there. The food was absolutely awful. The meat in the chicken and pork tacos were incredibly dry and not seasoned at all. Other people in our party ordered various menu items and were not impressed either. Seems like a fun spot to come and drink but not for food at all.

If I had to name the experience here it is a Smokers paradise. After finding out the restaurant we planned to go to was closed for a gas leak we found this place, the lights looked cool and they had a patio. We got there 15 minutes before happy hour ended, they had several open tables but waited until happy hour just ended to be seated in order to let the server catch up. We saw a lot of people smoking at the bar, and all around the patio yet we saw signs posted that there were no smoking.
Once seated we asked if they would honor the first round of drinks with happy hour pricing since it was 2 minutes after. No go. That’s fine but even with the catch up, the wait was extremely long. We tried to order chips and salsa but they were out of salsa.
Trouble with ordering drinks as the server didn’t know brands of tequila vs mezcal and or the gin they had. Still fine.
Ordered appetizer of guacamole and queso and had to wait 45 min to get that. The tacos we ordered for dinner were overcooked and dry and they didn’t even have the octopus taco but didn’t tell us until they brought out our food almost an hour and a half later.
They also charge 10% extra for the local cover band. I’m all for supporting musicians and showing appreciation when I enjoy the music but I don’t like being forced to pay for something that I didn’t even really enjoy. No offense to the band playing, just was hard to enjoy the “atmosphere” in general.
Everyone smokes where they want so if you like some cigarette smoke while you drink waiting to eat then this is definitely the place for you.
Oh and they also charge extra for non cash pay. None of this is known until you get the bill, so after the 10% surcharge, the 18% auto gratuity, and the extra credit card fee you leave hungry and a little more poor.
It reminded me of what a mosquito must feel like being lured in by the lights only to find out that it’s not what they anticipated.

It was a little windy on the day we were here and we asked if we could sit up out of the wind on the front deck and were told yes. We got my elderly mother seated and then a waitress told us we had to move. That was not cool. Besides that we ended up having a great waitress and really good craft tacos. There were 4 different kinds tried at our table and everyone was pleased with their selections.

If you’re looking for a local spot in Florida while visiting Jensen Beach or surrounding areas, check out this place. Tako tiki is worth the drive, and I live an hour away. Their service, the atmosphere, and the warm welcome from Molly behind the bar…
You can’t go wrong. It’s beautiful and you won’t be disappointed.

Absolutely fantastic! Cheap, easy going place with good vibes and great margaritas. We stayed in Jensen beach for our honeymoon and this was one of our faves. A live band called ‘Still Misbehaving’ played the night we were there and they really helped the restaurant stand out. Also, like I said, the BEST classic margaritas

Not all that great. We ordered several different street tacos. The fish taco had to be remade, which was better not great. The other choices were just OK as well. The location is pretty cool but could be made better with some activities outside. We talked to the manager in charge who was helpful but didn’t really speak to our issue that the food wasn’t great.

Such a cute place!! The veggie tacos were good, could’ve been better but honestly the place is so cute and gives that iconic “Florida vibe” I didn’t even mind it. Place probably pops off at night. I was there for lunch
