Reviews
The food is reliably solid. Salads are wonderful, especially on the patio on a beautiful day.
Our servers take the time to check ingredients for food allergies.
Great atmosphere. Nice place to catch a sports game or hang with friends.
Renovations are happening early 2024 to add a stage for music performance.
The potential here is amazing, but poor service will not help this place survive. 5 of us – we ordered 2 hamburgers, one couple split a fajitas dinner, I had a Carnitas burrito. Hamburgers made it to the table and the other meals arrived 20 minutes later. Getting a drink took more then 10 minutes, which wouldn’t be long if the place was crowded. We sat outside on a perfect weather evening on 10/4/25. We were shocked when going inside to use the restroom to find less than 10 customers inside.
The place is huge and an attractive atmosphere with plenty of bar seating – but empty on each evening I was there.
Food pricing was more than fair and again, the food was really good each of my 3 visits.
Location among the nearby condos and parking was plentiful. Again, great potential but no sense of urgency in taking care of the Customers that are there.
When we walked in, there was no hostess to greet us, and after waiting a few minutes, someone finally acknowledged our presence. We ended up sitting at the bar, and from the get-go, the bartender seemed disinterested in serving us. We ordered drinks—my friend opted for a shot while I had a Coors Light, and we both requested water. The drinks arrived promptly since we were at the bar, but the service took a turn for the worse when I ordered the spicy cheese curds as an appetizer.
The wait for the cheese curds felt excessively long, and when they finally arrived, they were disappointingly cold—not even melted inside. To add to my confusion, they were served over a bed of lettuce, which was not mentioned on the menu. When I asked the bartender about this, she curtly stated that “they sometimes come like that” but offered no explanation for their temperature. I suspected they had been forgotten and brought out late.
Things didn’t improve with my quesadillas; they arrived without the sour cream that was supposed to be included. When I pointed this out, the bartender responded defensively, saying she didn’t know I wanted it. This led to a frustrating exchange, with me, stating that the sour cream comes with the entrée, it’s on the menu. Her response was “you don’t have to talk to me like that” and although she eventually brought the sour cream, the interaction left a bad taste.
The manager, who was dressed in black, seemed more interested in playing pool with who he stated was a friend than addressing our concerns. When I attempted to discuss our issues with him, he brushed me off, claiming he was busy with a friend playing pool then called him a customer. This lack of attention to customer complaints was disappointing and unprofessional.
After spending $69 for our meal, I left without tipping the bartender, as I felt her attitude was unwelcoming and dismissive. Unfortunately, my experience reflects a pattern noted in other reviews, and I cannot recommend this location. I left feeling ignored and dissatisfied, and it’s clear that improvements are needed in both service and food quality at At 7 Bar and Grill. I will say, however, that my friend enjoyed his entrée of the salmon mashed potatoes and asparagus although I believe he said that one of the items could have used more seasoning. The live band was also nice to watch.
However, the service was not the best. On a Tuesday night there was one bartender, and we were two of six people in the entire place. She approached us quickly but after we got our food she never approached us again. She was on her phone texting the entire time. Never asked us if we wanted a refill on the drinks, or if we needed anything else. Unless, we flagged her down or shouted across the bar.
My friend went into the bathroom here and as she described it: it looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in days. Toilet paper all over the floor, only one stall with toilet paper to use, and vapes on the floor.
The food was good, we ordered a quesadilla and fajitas. Both were great.
Overall I would say this place has potential, but it was a little alarming that no one was in there. The service was not the best and the bathrooms were not clean. I was highly disappointed!
Family was visiting so we thought it would be a good chance to try to the new folks (I haven’t visited in a while so I have no idea how new they are). The place was clean but half of the place was empty as they remodeled. It also had a bleachy smell.
It looked like we were the only ones here for brunch, everyone else was at the bar and sounded like they were regulars. They had music playing but it was low enough for people to talk. I appreciate that.
The bartender/server was friendly. Prices were okay. I ordered the steak and eggs. The eggs and hash browns were good but the steak was fatty and had no sear.
My fiance loved her breakfast tacos and margarita (it wasn’t made from a mix, so bonus points from her). The visiting family enjoyed their sandwiches.
The steak earned three stars from me, but everyone else was happy so they’ve earned a compromise score of four stars.
Five minutes after the appetizer came one dish. 15 minutes after that came the rest of the meals.
Manager was nowhere to be found.
How this place is still in business is beyond me.
Food was bland.
