I’ve used Takeout Central (TC) a handful of times. Of those, 1 delivery was a problem. I did not receive 1 item I had ordered & another item was ‘breaded’ vs grilled, as I had ordered. But TC offered great customer service by refunding me for the entire meal! All other deliveries were perfect! I also noticed every delivery showed up 10 or 15 minutes before the projected delivery time, whereas other delivery services seem to show up 10 or15 minutes late!

Ordering from takeout central to get Squids food is great. The inclusion of their incredibly tasty hush puppies was a new and greatly appreciated development! They were actually hot on arrival. The breadcrumb topping on the perfectly cooked salmon was extremely tasty!

They do a great job. Small regional company. If there is an issue the customer service is excellent. I use them often and recommend using Takeout Central.

I understand convenience, but an item that costs $12.95 in a restaurant costs over $30 to be delivered (including 20% tip). Their drivers get the pitiful delivery fee (as low a $0.99) and whatever tip you give them. The $30 example had a $1.99 delivery fee and $3.24 tip. So $12 in fees.

I order regularly from Take Out Central Asheville and the drivers are kind, deliver hot and fresh food and follow instructions to the tee (I have dogs so request they leave the food by the door rather than knocking).
