This place is a must eat whenever you are in Savannah!!! You will not be disappointed! I was not expecting the plate to be that heavy with so much food. The food season just right too. My oxtail were so tender the meat was falling off the bone. I did a call in order and when I went to pick it up the staff member was super friendly. Needless to say, I’ll be back whenever I’m in Savannah.

Took a weekend trip to Savannah from Charleston and this place was definitely one of the top spots I wanted to try! My oxtails were cooked to perfection. My whole plate was such a large serving I couldn’t even eat it all in the same day. The owner was there and was super laid-back which I love. Will definitely keep supporting this business whenever I’m in Savannah.

Great food my second time going, I ordered the lamb chops and Oxtails the sauce on the lamb chops were sweet but so satisfying. It’s a lil weight but be patient because it’s worth it only problem. They do not accept credit cards so keep that in mind other than that 10 out of 10.

DO NOT believe the plates that you see on Tik Tok IG or online. I ordered smothered chicken, mac and cheese, and cabbage at $23. I received 3 fried Tyson chicken tenders with gravy on it. I was the fourth person to place my order when they opened. How in thee hell do I get cabbage in the consistency of baby food. After spending $80 for 3 plates, I still had to come home and eat something else. Look at the picture, would you eat that? Can you tell the “smothered chicken” from the “cabbage”? I waited from 130-230 and got home to this. Very disappointed. I got 3 plates and NOT ONE of them looked like Tik Tok or IG.

drove all the way to Savannah for our drive just to try take2 and I did not regret it that pot roast plate was everything my husband ordered the turkey wings, fried okra, and mac & cheese. Only thing he could say is Baby get a room we have to go back in the morning before we leave. I did wait for at least 20 minutes before my food came out, but was expected all in all we ordered six plates and all of us was satisfied and we will be back soon. First time here, I’m new to the area for a travel assignment. I checked the ratings & saw this spot on TikTok, so I thought I’d give it a try plus I love to support black owned businesses
Food Ratings: I ordered the oxtails & lamb chops dinner, which came over rice, greens, & Mac & cheese. The oxtails 5 , the lamb chops 4 (next time I’ll ask to cook med rare instead of medium well) the greens were 2 missing something PLUS they don’t have cornbread , the mac & cheese 4 , the rice 5 . I’ll probably ask for more gravy over the rice next time.
Staff:
Friendly & accommodating the cook did ask me how I liked my lamb chops cooked 5
Atmosphere :
The area doesn’t seem to be the best location, however the inside is cute with a grass wall, some seating areas. 4

The food is delicious and the menu has amazing options. Staff was super friendly and helpful with suggestions. Was able to speak to the cook and owner and got a feel for the business on a deeper level. Definitely a return spot when I’m in the area

Tried this restaurant for the first time and overall had a great experience. The place was very clean and well-kept, which is always a good first impression. The staff was friendly and welcoming, making the atmosphere feel warm and comfortable.
Since it was my first visit, I can’t speak on the consistency of the food or service over time, but what I had was fresh and enjoyable. I’ll definitely consider coming back to see if the quality holds up on the next visit.
