We absolutely love the sushi here. It’s so fresh and good. The service is just ok. We have had the same lady the 3 times we have been and she is not really attentive. You have to flag her down for everything. But that hasn’t stopped us since the sushi has been top notch.

This is our date night sushi spot! My husband and I frequent often and came recently to see how they have updated the dining area and it’s absolutely fantastic. We usually get the all you can eat menu and the sushi is always delicious and very well presented. Service is always prompt, courteous and professional. If you’re nearby Van Dyke Lutz area definitely swing by to try them out!

Absolutely my favorite sushi place!
I received warm greeting and excellent service by Stella. I had spicy ramen and it was yummy, al dente noodles with delicious broth.
The sushi chef Louis was very friendly and he made every bites amazing. He even made a free appetizer for me!

Very good option for all-you-can eat and traditional sit-down. Truly great service from the whole staff. Sushi is good on the all-you-can-eat eat menu but a little limited as you would expect. Entrees are exceptional though. Noodle dishes were banging. It’s nice to finally have a place like this closeby. No need to go to Tampa anymore. PS. Very clean and well maintained bathtooms. LOL

This is our new favorite sushi spot! The quality was unbeatable. The menu has so many options, you can’t go wrong. The krab Rangoon is one of the best we’ve had and the miso soup was a great size for only $3. We ordered the Sunflower, Sweet heart & Jimmy Smith rolls, they were all delicious. The steak hibachi is one of the tastiest. Service was great as well, everyone was so friendly and attentive. I definitely recommend checking this new place out!

If you have not yet tried Takara Sushi Grill & Bar on Van Dyke Road in Lutz, you are missing out. My husband and I are foodies and kinda Sushi snobs and this place knocked our socks off. The menu is extensive and very creative and all of the food was even more delicious than we had hoped.
Since they just opened a couple of weeks ago, they gave us a krab and cream cheese tempura appetizer to try. It was delicious! The tempura was very light and flaky and the krab and cream cheese were melted and gooey. It was topped with a sweeter sauce (eel sauce?) which complemented it perfectly.
We each ordered an appetizer for us to share. I ordered that Avocado bomb and he ordered the jalapeño popper (both are pictured). Both were outstanding! We devoured both and did not come up for air until we were finished.
For my entree, I ordered the Salmon Sensation Roll with salmon roe and eel sashimi (pictured). My husband ordered the American Dream roll with masago and salmon sashimi (pictured). Everything was amazing! It was delicious, fresh and perfectly plated.
For dessert, the waiter. Andy (who was super nice, polite, and attentive) brought us tempura fried Oreos with whipped cream and chocolate sauce (pictured). This is not even on the menu yet. It was to die for! And it capped off a perfect meal. Needless to say we left the restaurant filled to the brim but super happy. It may take us a little while to digest all that food (it was way more than we usually eat) but everything was so good, we will be back again soon.

Very nice decor, floor was really sticky. staff very nice! The yum yum sauce was not very good. The hot sake was not hot and the soup was room temperature. The presentation was good. Over all the food was ok.

The place is well decorated and clean, love the open lay out. Good size portions and beautiful presentation. My only complaint would be the chicken fried rice, the chicken was kinda dry but that’s what sauce is for. Will be returning for my next sushi fix.
