Highly recommend this place! I’m not usually a big fan of ramen, but this place truly amazed me. The broth was rich but not greasy, and very smooth. The chashu was fragrant and tender. The marinated eggs chashu rice was also delicious. The overall flavor was very unique and different from other ramen shops. The service was very cool and the experience was great. I will definitely come back next time!

I’ve been here several times already. Their soy sauce ramen is especially delicious, and the matcha latte is also very good. I also like their fried squid. The atmosphere is very quiet and comfortable, and the service is excellent.

Love the decor here. Their ramen is pretty good, especially considering how many mediocre ramen spots are in the area. However, skip the skewer or yakitori. Definitely not worth it.

Had a really long day at work and needed some place to relax and have a good meal for the night. Walked into Menya Taisyou and instantly loved the vibe in the place, clean, aesthetically pleasing, simple menu. Was sat down right away and helped.

I ate the chicken ramen and really loved it, definitely recommend to anyone to come in and experience the place.

I ordered the Tonkotsu White Soup Ramen, and the broth was exactly what I was hoping for: rich, creamy, and packed with flavor but not too heavy. The portion was generous, and the noodles had the perfect texture. The pork was melt-in-your-mouth tender, and the soft-boiled egg added just the right touch.

I also tried the Taisho Chashu Rice Bowl, and it was my favorite dish! The rice was fluffy, and the chashu was savory, perfectly seasoned, and incredibly tender.

Great food, friendly service, and an inviting atmosphere. Definitely planning to come back!

Also, you have to check out their cakes!

Alright, a new ramen spot in town and just in time for winter. The design inside definitely has Japanese inspired theme with kind of an izakaya feel to it. This spot is clearly Chinese run, but the service was good and friendly. My food came out within a good time. The ramen broth and their classic to tonkatsu was rich, but not too salty. Noodles were thin and grabbed onto the broth decently. The chasu was not overly fatty and had a solid smokey flavor. The gyoza was a nice combo and was tasty. I’ll be back for the spicy ramen and the karaage. Until next time!

Second time in, tried the ghost pepper ramen and it’s just okay. You get more spice and less flavor in the broth. Not bad, but the original tonkatsu was tastier.

The calimari dish was exquisite! Ordered a tarriake chicken rice dish and their beef belly. Both were well presented and tasted excellent. The ambiance is very appealing and we would eat here again if in the neighborhood!

Everyone in the SGV has been talking about this HOT new restaurant that just opened in Rowland Heights last month, and I finally got to go, so here’s everything I tried and what it’s really like.

First of all, it’s a vibe. It feels like you’re dining in a Japanese izakaya in a small alley, and you know they’ve nailed their recipe down when there’s only 4 types of ramen on the menu.

They really emphasize their meats here, like the pork chashu that’s slow-cooked at low temps, and you can really taste the smokiness of the pork belly chashu in the Special tonkatsu shoyu.

We also got an Unagi rice to share which was so tender and I’m such a sucker for unagi sauce.

Definitely don’t skip out on the Gyozas, and their Karaage chicken had my eyes popping out of my head when it arrived to the table. SO huge but still so juicyyy

Thanks for reading! ^-^
