Their food was first-class. The beef stew noodles are almost the same as you can find in Taiwan. They also make duck which is rare in Asian restaurants and the duck was very tasty with crisp skin. The waiter was super professional and nice.

We went here for a random date night last week. We were looking for somewhere we’d never been before and going was the best decision we’ve ever made. The food was incredible. Literally the best food I’ve ever had. We ordered the wonton soup, a chicken egg roll, a shrimp spring roll, shrimp fried rice, general tso and sweet and sour shrimp. Nothing about it was bad. Not a single complaint. The employees were all super friendly too.

Will be going back asap

We went to Taipei-Tokyo with dear friends. We had a table with plenty of space to enjoy lively conversation and boisterous laugher! Our server was very kind and friendly. The food was delicious! We can highly recommend this restaurant for a meaningful conversation over dinner, a business meeting, luncheon with club members or relaxing with family. Our table ordered the appetizers, eggplant, jade green vegetables, General with tofu and more!!! Everything was perfect and we can only recommend try something new each time you go from the numerous options!!!

Could you guess that these are two different orders of chicken????? Cause I couldn’t. One is allegedly general tso and the other is orange chicken. They look and taste the exact same- which is not good at all. Flavorless and soggy. The only reason I could tell the one apart from the other were tiny pieces of what seemed to be burnt orange peel. If I could leave 0 stars I would. This place used to be really good as of last year but now all of a sudden the last few times I’ve gotten food from here, it’s been severely disappointing. And for the price? $63 for two chicken dinners, lo mein, and some dumplings that were all equally as lackluster.

Dined here with my daughter and husband. I had the poke bowl. It was amazing and fresh but rather rich. My daughter had an over the top Americanized sushi roll, but of course, it was delicious! My husband had Singapore noodles they were a bit bland and dry.

I’d come back to try more of the menu.

Very dissapointing. we have eaten at the restaurant and the food was good. however, take out is apparntly a differant story. Sadly. the shrimp in the sweet and sour was like rubber. all coating, not much shrimp. the sauce was watery, the veg half cooked. my general tso’s was the same story. ckicken fatty and stringy. broccoli again way undercooked. sauce was watery and very salty. the eggrolls looked to be brought in frozen, thawed and then fried. not much flavor.and as to sauces, when i pay over 40$ i would expect something better than the packets. sadly i will not be back.

Came here for dinner after an event at the convention center. Food was so good! We shared the vegetarian dumplings. I had a wonton soup and the hot banana pepper chicken, which was amazing. My friend got the pork and vegetables. Good service and reasonably priced.

I’m struggling to understand how this place is so highly rated. It must be for the service because it definitely isn’t for the food. We spent over $70, and the food all either tasted fishy or was practically ice cold. The miso soup was the worst. The soda was flat. The service was good, but I wouldn’t come back, unfortunately, because the food was definitely not tasty!

We have been dining here for almost 12 years and always thought the food, especially the sushi was really great. As someone that worked in a higher end sushi restaurant, it was a solid 7 in my opinion, and we were always recommending it to others. In addition, the staff has always been very friendly, accommodating, and even when you could tell they were in the weeds, they were on it. Which makes it sad to say that over the past year or so, the quality of the food has really taken a dive. In a previous visit, I thought everything I ordered from the sushi bar was a little off. Mostly the flavor profiles of items I typically get just weren’t the same, I thought perhaps it was a new chef, or an off day. My partner ordered a shrimp and pineapple dish with the “incredible sauce” and it was absolutely inedible. The shrimp was heavily breaded and it did not state that on the menu, nor is there a sauce description. It came out of the kitchen soggy and cold. The sauce itself was one of the worst things I’ve ever eaten, it’s very sweet, starchy, and very bland. There was also just SO much of it. My partner was too nice to say anything in the moment, but we ended up taking the breading and sauce off and feeding the shrimp to our pups so it wasn’t a total waste. Fast forward to tonight and I’m a bit dumbfounded at how bad the food is. We ordered quite a bit of sushi and maki rolls, the pork dumplings, and shrimp udon. The first thing I noticed was the ginger, which was oddly watery, stringy, and off color. I had a taste and it was obviously way past it’s best by date, we immediately threw it away. The pork dumplings were overcooked and soggy, and the center had no flavor. The maki rolls, although all different, (crazy spicy tuna, volcano roll, and phoenix) somehow all tasted the same, and the textures were non-existent, and everything was just oddly soft. The lack of flavor, however, may have had something to do with the fact that the spicy mayo was so hot that my mouth was on fire, and numbed my taste buds,…and I love spicy. I truly hate to say it, especially because Taipei was in our steady rotation of local places to dine, but we won’t be back anytime soon. I recommend steering clear of this establishment until they get back to the same quality they were before.
