If inner peace came in a bowl it would be served here. Chose the pickled cabbage and shredded pork and every bite recharged my weary soul. The better half had beef noodle soup which was equally delicious and had an amazing kick. Coupled with the great service it was a welcome way to recharge on a Saturday. Can’t wait to return!

Incredibly rich, savory, and complex broths here. We’ve tried and liked:

– mu shu pork
– hot and sour soup
– egg drop soup
– beef and broccoli

The lunch specials are nice deals, and the space is set up for family-style plate sharing. We plan to go back a lot to try the various soups and lunch specials that are really good dine-in specials, especially in this economy.

Food/Taste/Flavor: 3/5 – very generous portion sizes but the food wasn’t very good. Lunch Special of Kung Pao Chicken (1) and Szechuan Beef (9). The chicken should have a slightly sweet and spicy with a tough of nuttiness from peanuts or cashews. Unfortunately, it had a bitter taste to it overall and some of the celery pieces very stringy. We’re not quite sure what they gave us for the second dish but it isn’t a Szechuan beef… it was a weird coated beef with two chilies and some peas. It wasn’t very spicy and reminded us more of Mongolian Beef. The fried rice is pretty much just white rice with a touch of eggs.

Ambience: n/a – ordered food to go. It feels like this restaurant couldn’t really decide what it wanted to be. Restaurant vs bar vs gambling place, Taiwanese vs Chinese vs Korean, a place to sit and enjoy your meal or get to-go and get out…

Service: 2/5 – we did get to the restaurant around 1:30 on a Saturday afternoon and she seemed annoyed that we didn’t immediately know what we want. Definitely come for efficiency and not friendliness!

Value for price: 3/5 – while the food is cheap and came with a generous portion, it wasn’t very good overall.

Great food so full of flavors. Excellent service. Had everything I needed when I needed it. Wonton noodle soup was the best. Had Kung Pao chicken wasn’t too spicy but one can add Sriracha sauce if you want it hot. Loved it, was great.

Nice find for us, although I’m sure the locals know all about this place. They are known for their noodles so of course I had to try it. Was not disappointed! Ordered the Dan-Dan Mein Szechaun Sauce Noodles and absolutely loved the noodles. The sauce was ok (first time having it), wish it was a bit thicker. Can’t wait to go back and try another dish!

First off this place looks run down and outdated BUT the food that they make is delicious!! You should dine in because when you order take out you’re losing a lot of the flavor and textures of the dishes. The time it takes to be picked up and then taken to your home will take away from the quality. They brought our crispy sweet and sour pork out and it was the tastiest and crunchiest sweet and sour pork I’ve ever had, it was like eating french fries because I could not stop eating it, it also stayed piping hot while we ate our other dishes. The black bean noodle texture was great! The sauce is mild. This restaurant offers you water or a complimentary hot tea. We took dan dan noodles to-go and that was also very good, they give you a lot of minced pork and the portions are huge, trust me they don’t skimp on their ingredients! Our total with a pepsi was only 32 dollars for 3 huge and delicious dishes (going to enjoy the leftovers later tonight). I also can see why some people say the lady here is rude, it’s a bit of a culture difference I’d say, but to me she was not rude at all!

Was looking for a place for dinner in the area and decided to give this place a go, as there were not many places within walking distance of where we were.

My group got of 5 got a few appetizers and mains dishes to share. Every dish was incredibly good. The spot is very unassuming and we were blown away with the quality of the food!

Also the kimchi that I believe they made in house was the best I have ever had. Great flavor, crunch and a touch of spice!

I heard this place makes really good soup and noodles. So a friend and I tried it yesterday for some hot soup . It did not disappoint. I like the fried chicken wings. The seafood soup can improve some with taste. Something is missing in the soup. The place is clean. It doesn’t look as nice outside but it’s cozy and clean inside. I’ll return and maybe try other dishes.

I had the wonton noodle soup and it was delicious. My fiancé had the spicy beef noodle soup and the broth was super flavorful. We also shared the bao dumplings which are handmade to order – awesome! Large portions for reasonable prices, we both had leftovers.
