BY FAR THE BEST!!!!! Okay I love me some Chinese food and I’m very picky on where I eat it. I finally found my favorite Chinese Restaurant. It’s very clean, homie, authentic and delicious. Service was great but my goodness, the FOOD was amazing. Lots of flavor, price is good especially for how much you get. Big portions to share for families!

Might become my new ‘value Lunch’ spots. The Lunch Combo I had, King Pao Beef was very flavorful, colorful, nice presentation. Soup is included with lunch. Prices are $3-4 under the other Chinese places often mentioned in the area. Pretty small, Only a dozen or so chairs. Had Lunar New Year parade on the one TV.

Wow! What an unexpected surprise! We tried this location 3-4 years ago when it was Tang’s Wok. We tried it tonight and we really enjoyed it.
The first dish delivered was their green beans. I don’t know what they put on them but they were AMAZING! So flavorful.
The chicken chow fun was my kid’s favorite. Great balance of meat, veg and noodles.
The sweet and sour chicken is my wife’s barometer of how she judges a place. Crispy outside, tangy sauce, and good balance between chicken and breading.
Finally, the honey walnut prawns were enormous. The actual shrimp/prawn was modestly sized compared to the breading. Flavor was solid but a bit bread heavy.
Our experience was great. Small family atmosphere (of which we were the only family that couldn’t speak some Chinese dialect).
Oh and the Spring rolls had a nice crunch and a good ginger flavor.
Totally worth repeat visits.

The food was great, and the portions are huge! Two people can definitely share one plate. The staff were so friendly, and they even brought out some soup for us to try for free. Definitely recommend and we will be back!

Got a few plates and although the service was great, the food was only okay. The seafood did not taste as fresh, the sweet and sour pork was subpar. Both dishes were really salty.

Friendly quiet calm atmosphere.
It’s their grand opening so they’re just getting started and I think they’re going to do a really good
Oh and I almost forgot if you have a specific kind of fish you like you can bring that fish to the restaurant and they will cook it for you, I don’t know any other restaurant that would do that that’s really nice of them… Yum!!!

I hadn’t been here since they changed ownership. What a nice change!
Food: 5/5 – there are 2 kinds of menus – Chefs Special (authentic Cantonese dishes)and Westernized Asian food. We had a hankering for authentic Chinese food. They did not disappoint! Thanks to ‘uncle’ who made us a delicious meal. Our favorite were the chicken chow fun and deep fried pork spareribs. They accommodated our requests to skip eggplant in one dish and to cook another dish less spicy.
Atmosphere: 5/5 – place was newly renovated with new furniture and a fresh coat of paint. Clean & inviting place to dine whether it’s a small or bigger group.
Service: 5/5 – our server was great and offered some suggestions.
Overall I’ll definitely will be back when I am in the area again! If you want authentic Cantonese food, this is the place to go. Make sure you ask for the authentic menu.

We’ve walked past Tai Chin many times and been tempted by their extensive tofu options. At lunch today we tried the shrimp broccoli lunch special (not pictured) which came with choice of soup, choice of starter and choice of rice. The fried shrimp starter was delicious. The size of the lunch special was generous given the other sides coming with it. We also ordered the general tso’s tofu (pictured) which was also a good portion size. They have a small beer and soda selection. Service was friendly and quick – they were kind enough to bring a second soup for me to try even though my meal did not come with it. We will be back to try more of their offerings!

The service here was quite pleasant and considerate! I did my customary tasting of pan-fried noodles and it was fairly decent and yummy.
We also tried their general tso tofu which had an excellent if not really spicy sauce. Would be down to come here again should the opportunity present itself!

Had lunch here today with my dad and it was DELICIOUS! We both had chefs specials with fried rice, he got had beef with spring rolls, and I had the chicken with vegetables and crab puffs. He also had sweet and sour soup, and I had the egg flower soup. Service was great (they did started to get a bit swamped but the hostess was great being on her own!) food was great and HOT (had to wait a little bit before eating). Crab puffs were the best we’ve had in ages, and the sweet and sour was the best my dad has ever had. The tea blend that was served to us was really good too (I forgot to ask what they used).
For those of you who remember chopsticks restaurant back when it was owned by Stella and her husband, we were really reminded of them! We feel like we’vr ound our new Chinese restaurant here in Vancouver.
