Years later, back in the area. Stopped by for a quick bite. I walked up and was greeted by a lovely couple. We ordered broccoli beef and teriyaki chicken, both over noodles. Minutes passed, and our food was ready. Fresh, hot, and perfect. The broccoli was crisp, fresh, and cut into bite-size. The beef was silky and flavorful. Noodles were plentiful, with the right chew. The chicken was dark and white meat cooked to perfection, having a light char taste. Teriyaki sauce was mildly sweet, thick with flavor. When in town, stop by….
Fresh. Tasty. Quick. Friendly.
Located inside Harrah’s Lake Tahoe, you’ll find Tahoe Asian Kitchen. Head over to the food court and walk far back. I walked up, was greeted by friendly staff, and noticed a spotless front counter area. Took a moment to review the menu and made my choice. I ordered the Bulgogi over noodles and loved how fresh and tasty everything was. The portions were huge, beef tender, soft spaghetti-size noodles, and covered in a sweet & tangy sauce. I’d say took under six minutes for my meal to arrive at my table. No complaints this being my second visit this year. Will go back for thirds the next time I’m inside Harrahs Lake Tahoe.

I ordered an egg roll and pot stickers. For $4.50 they gave me just 2 pot stickers. And they were incredibly soggy. They have the ability to deep fry and pan fry. The egg was just horrible. It was a southwestern style with beans. Why would an Asian “restaurant” have a southwestern egg roll? Seriously I know it’s not fine dinning, but I’ve had better at truck stops in the middle of nowhere where?

The food was great and tasty! I ordered the orange chicken bowl, and the portion was allot for the price. I can appreciate food costing a little more if it’s well prepared, well cooked, and served by courteous, professional people.

Honestly, this little spot is one of my favorite places to grab a snack when visiting South Lake. The line is usually short, the prices are fair, and the food is good. It is located in the Harrah’s food court, they do not accept any Ceasar’s rewards as they are independent of the casino. I always get the chicken teriyaki bowl with noodles and the portions are huge, my wife and I usually split it as a snack while gambling. It never fails to impress, definitely stop here if you want a nice quick snack and don’t fell like a sitting at a restaurant. I also love being able to take some food back to my room after hitting the casinos. As far as fast food goes this is the best bet if you are near stateline, otherwise you end up at the tourist trap restaurants. Give this place a shot if you haven’t yet.

Celebrating NYE with my hubby in Tahoe. The next day we decided to grab a quick bite. Average food and service was okay. I ordered two beef over noodles and egg rolls. The noodles were a little thick for my taste. Hubby said his were good. Beef was plentiful and full of flavor. Added some chili sauce for a little kick. I would have liked more veggies to add a fresh element. Egg rolls were huge and crispy. Filled with carrot, cabbage, and mushroom were nice and light . We’d come back next time in Tahoe.

Paid 40 bucks for questionable beef over dry noodle with 100 bits of celery. TINY portions. Doesn’t accept Caesars rewards. Genuinely one of the most disappointing Asian meals I’ve ever had.

No excellente just a regular Chinese food and kind of expensive for just a bowl. Just one spring roll costs 4 bucks the same for two meat balls. And bowls start from 12.
