Second time visiting, first time posting a review!
Honestly, totally worth it! I came here in February visiting my girlfriend (I’m from Scotland), and I was out strolling the neighbourhood and popped in! The first time I went I got the chicken shawarma. The chicken was grilled and seasoned to perfection, vegetables all fresh, hummus was great! Big portions too!
The second time I visited, I mentioned I had been here in February and the guy at the counter recognised me! This time I went for the beef shawarma. My pictures don’t do the meal justice, it was incredible quality! From the beef to the hummus, from the onions to the rice, all the flavours complimented each other perfectly!
Got a piece of baklava for a sweet treat afterwards. I should have got a second piece, need I say more about how good it was?
10/10 food, 10/10 service, I just need to take my other half along to this place and let her try it too!

Get the baklava and thank me later. It’s probably the best baklava that I’ve ever tried. It’s soft inside, crispy from outside , and not too sweet. perfect texture.
Also, I’d recommend getting the chicken shawarma bowl vs chicken kebab bowl . the chicken shawarma is amazing! generous portion, and the garlic sauce is the best.

The baba ghanoush was creamy and delicious; perfect to pair with anything. The salad was also a highlight of the chicken kebab plate.
The local owner clearly loves both his restaurant and his guests. While some menu items have a modern twist, like the gyro wrap, most are authentically prepared.
This little hole-in-the-wall is definitely worth a try either in person or delivery!

Tahini House best Mediterranean food around! I live in Whittier and decided to order food for a small family party, so glad I did!
For 8 adults 2 kids I ordered 2 family meals everything was so good
Beef kabobs, Gyro, Chicken Shawarma all full of flavor, tender & moist.
The Tabouli so fresh and Baba Ghanoush best I’ve ever had!
Portions are so generous, we had left overs! the owner was working when I ordered, he is such a delight so accommodating.

Food is delicious and place is clean. When I visited…one man was doing it all – taking orders and doing the cooking – and man did he kill it. He knows what he’s doing and helped me pick a menu item for myself. I was specifically looking for mediterranean food which is why Google brought me here, I’m glad I stopped in. The only recommendation I have is to have napkins out for guests…or provide them when the food comes out. When I visited there were no napkins anywhere in sight. Overall a good visit though. Enjoyed a take out lunch of a beef shawarma plate with a side salad, hummus, and garlic sauce. All were delicious. The beef was perfectly cooked, a little crispy at the ends, but still juicy. The hummus was creamy and fresh. The side salad was tangy and a little sour, which perfectly complemented the dishes.
Tucked away in a small strip mall, it is easy to miss, but please don’t. When you need this type of food fix, it hits the spot. I will return.

We tried this place for the first time and it was really good! We are Greek so Mediterranean food is something we are pretty picky about. The chicken Kabab was so tender and seasoned well. The tzatziki is AH-MAZING and as it pains me to say – better than mine. The pita was soft and the hummus very tasty. The owners were so nice and welcoming. We will definitely be back to support this family owned small business ! ❤️
