There’s a reason why this place is almost a perfect 5 star eatery!!! What can I say that hasn’t already been said hundreds of times in these reviews but I will add onto it b/c they deserve the accolades.
Noticeably, you walk in and they are friendly and efficient. There are quite a few employees in their kitchen and they work fast. How refreshing! People can pile in but they work so fast that it doesn’t feel cramped in the small waiting area.
Onto the main star, their sandwiches. Man, if only this place can be franchised and be everywhere in the US, we’d all be enjoying delicious sandwiches who are not from Missoula.
The bread, so important in a sandwich, is perfectly baked. Not sure if it’s baked in-house or not but either way, it’s delicious. I believe they use Boar’s head deli and that is a good brand. Very juicy and fresh tasting with a mix of their unique spreads with the greens and tomatoes on their bread makes a perfect sandwich.
Cannot recommend this place enough to anyone googling places to eat in Missoula! You won’t be disappointed.

This place is absolutely amazing! It’s so good we went back two days in a row. There is not I can say negative. The staff is pleasant and the shop is super clean. All 3 sandwiches we tried were amazing. I say 3 cause The Sublime is so good we got it both days!

Freaking amazeballs! The ingredients are all top notch, the bread is perfectly balanced between chewy with a crispy exterior but it doesn’t destroy the roof of your mouth like a bowl of Captain Crunch. It was really really great! Probably one of the top 3 sandwiches I have ever had and that list includes Katz Deli in NYC. The walnut pesto and spicy garlic aioli are out of this world good. I only snagged one picture of the food (The Beach Boys) because I devoured mine like ferocious lion on the Serengeti…or like the fat guy I am with a delicious Tagliare sandwich! Luckily, my wife savors her food like she actually wants to taste things so I got the pic.
Go here for lunch and then go back for dinner and get an extra sandwich for a snack later…maybe there’s a reason I’m festively plump…whatever. if Tagliare is what makes me fat, I will be fat and happy!!!

Wow… this place was so good. I was sad I went here on my last day in Missoula because I definitely would have gone back, maybe multiple times. I got the Cure which is a simple turkey sandwich. It was packed with flavor and the quality of the meat was so good. My friend got the Sublime, and she really enjoyed it. The bread was delicious and the perfect texture. It wasn’t too crisp, but it also didn’t get soggy. Really great price for a huge, delicious sandwich.
I’d recommend ordering online before you get there since it gets pretty busy. Service was fast even though there were a lot of people there. Staff was friendly. They had a fun selection of drinks and other imported Italian treats and food.

Tagliare is amazing, hands down my favorite sandwich shop ever (not just in Missoula) and it’s not even close.
I just have one minor suggestion – the pickles from here are just as amazing as the sandwiches, only problem is they wrap them in tin foil and the pickle juice leaks through the bag every time! So when you get it to go and toss it in your backpack or on the passenger seat of your car you end up with a mess. Maybe plastic wrap instead of tin foil? Or the same lined paper the sandwiches are wrapped in?
Other than that, no qualms. Super fair prices, super great selection, awesome staff. I suggest this place to all my friends who come to visit.

I’ve always ordered the Beach Boy and have always been satisfied to not change my order! I absolutely love Tagliare’s sandwiches and I’d recommend them to anyone who is thinking of trying one!

Quality Ingredients, from the bread, meat and all their delicious spreads oils and vinegar that get that sandwich swimming in flavor. YUM!!! I’m kinda picky about sandwiches because I feel like I can make that thing at home and save a buck, but hands down, I would be pressed hard to duplicate this deliciousness. Good stuff you gotta try it. Not many places to sit in the winter but on a summer day or fall, take that grat bite outside and enjoy.

This is an absolutely amazing local Italian deli. The atmosphere is always friendly and welcoming. I’ve been to both locations and the Higgins location is certainly my favorite. It has the feel of a local Italian deli. The sandwiches are well crafted and delicious and the bread is the perfect sandwich bread. It’s a shame I live 7 hours away and I’ve only been able to go twice.

Great sandwich and they have a good selection of my favorite local hot sauce (Arthur Wayne). I travel here for a yearly ski trip and need to get my hot sauce, this time I enjoyed the Megadeath sandwich with some hot Scorpion Venom sauce on it!
