The food displaying on google maps is not accurate. This is a terrible place for food. The burger was small and flat. 80% of the menu is not there anymore. Fries were the only thing decent

We used to come here regularly, but we were bummed to see that they removed almost everything off of the menu. The service and atmosphere was lovely as always, but there was only one burger remaining on the menu, and we were told that it was still the same quality as the burgers were prior to the switch up, but the burger was equivalent to a drive thru burger. I gobbled it down in a couple of bites. The bun was flat like a little fast food bun instead of the delicious buns they used to have, and there were no fresh toppings available. This is so sad because Tag used to have such incredible food! Sadly we won’t be coming back. If we want this style of burger, we will hit a drive through instead of paying high quality price for a low quality meal.

Glad to have Tag nearer. Had tried them before at their former location and I have to say, distance and parking is so much better at current location.

Ordered:
Chix & Shrimp Dumplings
Mac n Cheese
Meatloaf

To-Go:
Old School Burger

BTW, sides are not included with burgers, still, have to say their burgers are .

Molly, our Server, was very gracious, ensuring we did not lack anything.

We visited on a weekend, mid-afternoon, so seating was no problem.

Will definitely be back.

Tag’s latest concept felt a bit like he wanted to try making a Ruby Tuesday’s. I’m not sure this one is gonna last. The restaurant felt understaffed, with a bit of a longer wait for service than I would expect from this sort of restaurant. It was also kinda dead, so maybe the staffing levels were right on? Strangely, the woodfire pizza place across the street was slammed.

The buns were fantastic, a nice bread for a burger. The burger itself was decent, with a “wider not taller” difference between the 1/4 and 1/2 lb burger. Unfortunately, this left the quarter pounder looking a bit under stuffed and the half pounder looking like someone misjudged their bun size. They referred to them as smash burgers at various places on the menu, but didn’t feature any lacy, burned crunchy bits on the edges, so I’m not really sure it counts as a smash burger. The flavors they offered on the premade burgers were well balanced.

The fries were good, with a modest portion size that looked small but filled me up. Onion rings came out a bit greasier than they should be, feeling like maybe the oil temp was a bit too low or they weren’t cold enough going on.

Beer prices trended about a dollar higher than I would have expected, and the menu had a nickle and dime sort of feel, with every burger option feeling just a bit more expensive than it needed to be. I’ve never seen a build your own burger menu that charged you a dollar for ketchup, no matter how fancy. It would have felt less like they were counting coins if they bumped the base price up by a dollar and included the first sauce free. Who buys a burger with no sauce anyway?

Kind of a bummer, I really expected a little bit more from the TAG group.

I love a good burger… My wife and I were super excited to try this burger bar finally. especially coming from the owner that owns hashtag, Guard and grace and more. First, I have to mention … I did not know we were entering a “smash burger” establishment. Nowhere on the website does it mention smash burger style patties. Hence my 1/4 lb patty was more like an 8th patty. The flavors were wonderful on the “Big Kahuna”, but seriously… I had to go to King Soopers after to get more burger to grill at home and have a real burger to fill up. (Kinda of pathetic)
As for my wife’s burger. She got a lettuce wrap classic. Seriously! One piece of romaine per side to cover that pathetic over crisped “smash burger”!?!? Compare that shit to Red robins lettuce wrap cheeseburger. Come on guys. Service was fine and like I said, flavors were fine. We weren’t impressed by any means. But for two drinks, two tiny burgers and a side of mashed potatoes/fries… $96 is extremely ridiculous. I feel robbed. Not to mention the extra $20 bucks for my burger meat/buns for after the fact.

the good: Walter. Dudes a pro and deserves way better than what this place has become…

which leads to the not so good.

What used to be a full service restaurant is barely a poor man’s wendy’s with a bar. (only woth less staff) .

food options : burger or cheeseburger or chkn sandwich. Only american cheese. no bacon. no avocado. No anything really . hugely disappointing.

want a pint? hope you like plastic. Oh , and now you order at the bar. like a wendy’s or five guys. (except 5 guys has more options).

This was a fav neighborhood place. Walter is great.

bit sad to see what it’s become.

Tag is still awesome and nothing has changed! The food is still tasty. The atmosphere is chill and kid friendly. The server was super nice and attentive. I was a little scared to go back since they moved, but I wasn’t disappointed at all.

Change in menu is a total disappointment. You have 1 burger in the menu at a “burger bar”. And minimal other options! Also serves drinks in single use plastic cups and food in paper that is then thrown away. Why did you get rid of the Lady Gaga Burger? Terrible decisions made this place worse and definitely will not be back.

Amazing burgers. Service was fast and staff were friendly and polite. The burgers were crispy along the edge which I love. I had the Lady Gaga. So many amazing flavors. Definitely coming back.

The burger was quite the disappointment, and my margarita was very weak. Don’t let the size of the margarita fool you. You can’t taste any alcohol. I had to order a shot on the side . I got the lettuce wrap instead of bun. It came with 1 piece of lettuce per side. They are smash burger style patties, and I don’t recall seeing that mentioned anywhere. We will not be returning.
