WOW! Fresh ingredients and homemade quality… Absolutely one of the best tacos we’ve had in years! Homemade!
They use shredded pork, fresh cilantro, plenty of cheese… and the flavor combo is great. The burrito and tacos were all made with the same ingredients so just choose your style. The burrito was HUGE! (The picture doesn’t do it justice.) The place is new, so there’s not a lot of variety but if you want a really great taco… This is it!
And… They have a good cup of coffee too! 😉

It was a great place to stop and get lunch on the way to Houghton. There’s a nice view of the lake. If you choose to look that direction, they also have several picnic tables outside. The food was delicious and very generous portions and the prices were reasonable.

Got a chorizo breakfast burrito. It was fresh and flavorful and big enough to split between me and my husband (who still has the appetite of a teenage boy). The salsa was obviously homemade and had a really pleasant flavor and spice level. The coffee was slightly weak for my personal taste, but I love that they source it from a local roaster. Would come again for sure!

We have been twice. Had the beef tacos, pork torta and pork loaded nachos the first time. Good amount of food! Delicious. We also have had the breakfast tacos and holy cow are those delicious! We LOVE the spicy salsa as well! Perfect amount of spice and flavor! Definite must stop!

My family came here for dinner tonight, and it was amazing! The portions were way larger than I expected for the price. Everything on the menu looked great. After they closed, they even gave us some free desserts and a couple extra burritos they had made. Will definitely be coming back!

The family & I stayed in Chassell and drove by this place a couple of times. I looked it up on Google and saw the pictures of the food and said “We HAVE to try this!” It did not disappoint. I had the chorizo & pork burrito and I’m kicking myself for not taking a picture because this thing was massive. No exaggeration, the biggest dry burrito I’ve ever ordered and it was only $12. The ingredients were great. It didn’t feel like it came off of a Gordon Foods or Sysco truck. Real quality ingredients, especially the meat. I was thoroughly impressed. The staff was great! If you get there when it’s busy it feels a bit chaotic but none of that matters after the first couple bites. I will be stopping there every time I go thru Chassell. Great job everyone at Tactical Taco!

We grabbed the loaded pork nachos. The pork was tender & they didn’t skimp on the meat, the portion size was generous (we probably could have shared an order), and the service was fast and friendly. We’ll definitely be stopping by whenever we head up to the Keweenaw!
