The food was terrific. We wanted to try this place as they offer corundas and uchepos for my mother-in-law. We tried those as well as tortas ahogadas, their quesatacos, burritos and I decided to order carnitas. Their carnitas were just great! Which made the torta ahogada super! as well as the salsa and chile for the torta (better than others I had tried and being their specialty) only the bolillo was not the typical. All my family loved their food, big plus. The place is extremely small, no parking that’s the down part. The cashier was very attentive, helpful, had a great attitude . Will definitely be back for a to go order! One other thing, I loved how they provide their salsas, good little sealed bags.

I found this spot on Instagram while I was hungry and at an appointment in Lynwood. It was taco Tuesday so I figured let’s give it a try. Their carnitas was delicious! I ordered the taco that has all the parts (micro I think) and it is sooooo good! It reminds us of a Michoacán style place in Mexico. Their Al pastor was also really good. They have great prices especially on Tuesdays! Their salsa, Curtido and all the fixings are delicious! They also make fresh tortillas de maiz for every taco. They had very delicious horchata too. This is not close to my home but we are definitely going back. We ate there and I took more home. There isn’t a lot of seating inside and parking is not the best but well worth it!

I have been wanting to come here for the longest!!!!, ever since I saw they sell cueritos!!!!!!! My Boyfriend brought me and I absolutely loved the cueritos and carnitas mixed plate! He got me a 1 pound mixed plate! So delicious!!!! Highly recommend them!!!!!

What a gem hidden in the city of Lynwood. The food is so delicious and fresh. My recommendation is the tacos mixtos, trust me! The only bad thing from this place is the size of the place. A tiny restaurant that only has 3 tables to seat and eat. Since this food is so good, the traffic is always busy, so you always have to take your food to go.

Went for their taco tuesday- had both carnitas and pastor, both good flavor. Will definetely comr back for their taco Tuesday special! Only negative thing is that they have no parking.
Update: our go to place for sure. If we dont go Tuesdays, then we get their 1b carnita special that includes, 1 lb of carnitas, tortillas, salsa, pickled carrots and onions for about 23 dollars including tax- such a great price

This was my 1st time there after seeing the hype on social media. WE LITERALLY WAITED AN HOUR FOR OUR FOOD! I got a Ramen birria It had NO flavor whatsoever and the “birria” was super minced to the point that it had no texture. There’s only like 3 tables to “dine in” and you literally have people breathing on your neck while you’re trying to eat. I will NEVER cone here again!

I’ve lived in Lynwood for several years now and really enjoy the neighborhood. It’s quiet, safe, and has a lot of local businesses that make it feel like home. The city has definitely grown in recent years, and I love seeing more options for dining and entertainment pop up.

I first tried their tamales de corundas during Christmas and loved them so much I had to tell my parents. They were excited to find out the restaurant was close to their place, so we had to check it out! The atmosphere was great—my mom especially enjoyed the music.
We ordered the birria plate, carnitas plate, tamal de corundas, rompope flan, and tamal de elote. To drink, we had the café de olla and their atole de tamarindo. Everything was full of flavor and felt like a true taste of home.
Definitely a spot we’ll be coming back to!

I was really excited to try this place — I’ve been following them on Instagram for a while and finally decided to go. Maybe I just ordered the wrong thing, but I got a carnitas torta and an asada torta, and both were pretty plain. Honestly, all I could really taste were the beans and bread. The carnitas flavor didn’t really come through, and the salsa had a slightly sour taste that wasn’t very pleasant.
I truly wanted to love this spot, especially after seeing all the great reviews and photos online, but unfortunately it just didn’t live up to the hype for me.

I don’t often leave reviews but after my experience today I feel it’s necessary. I come here often , and I truly enjoy their food, however their customer service needs real work. I placed my order asked for 2 of the same taco orders and for the sauce on the side , I order the same thing every time I come and it’s always a hit or miss on the cashier actually putting on the ticket to put the sauce on the side . When they don’t I simply remind the cashier and they fix it no problem, occasionally they look bothered and when the food is remade they will make the portion visibly less than what they usually do but it’s no big deal, except today when the cashier made the mistake and forgot to put it on the side she tried to blame me for her mistake, stated she went and asked the owner and the owner refused to remake the plates. She agreed to remake one but not the other claiming I had only asked for one to be on the side not both which is untrue. I asked to speak the the owner and to please review security footage , I was sure of what I ordered. They eventually remade the order , again the portion much less than the original order , cold and bland meat almost as if it was on purpose. Very disappointing, their food is great , my review is based on experience not the taste of their food , but sadly I don’t see myself returning.
