I am all about retro and this quaint locally owned ice cream and burger place doesn’t disappoint! I was fascinated by the 60’s style juke box.
There are so many ice cream flavors to choose from. I ask for ‘No sugar added’ ice cream and they even had that! It was delicious!! Give it a try!

The food was great and the staff was very nice. Our group had a variety of burgers, chicken sandwich, veggie burgers and fries. Everything was great! Compliments to the cook, who was cooking everything by himself and did it quickly and efficiently. We will definitely return!

June 25, 2024 – If you’re in area of Stuart’s Draft ( outskirts of Waynesboro) in search of a good ice cream place. . . Dap’s is GREAT !
They carry Hershey’s Ice Cream, with 40 flavors of real creamy hand dipped freshness! Whether on a cone, or in a cup they’ll fix it up for you!
Reminds me of the old Happy Days tv show! A place where high school kids would go to meet their friends for burgers, fries, and milkshakes! The owner Phil Witry opened this niche spot in 2015 , and he’s still telling stories and giving out travel tips to visitors. Matter of fact he told of us several places to visit around Waynesboro & Staunton! Thanks !
Dap’s is worth the stop for great Ice Cream, and diner style food ! Next time I’ll try their famous burgers!

Amazing ice cream! I sampled 2 flavors on the house! Everyone was really friendly. The restaurant was clean and it was decorated really well with nostalgic knick knacks and pictures. Great stop!

This restaurant was next level. They had custom burgers, including Wagu. They had an ice cream counter, too. The fries were a little skinny, but the onion rings were massive. The service staff were very welcoming. A classic jukebox was in one corner and an extra fixings bar at another.
