Awesome tacos! I had the bistek & frito plate (steak and potato) and both were perfectly cooked and delicious. Also had rice and beans which you could tell were house made and a perfect match to the dish. My workmate had the pork (al pastor) tacos and was solidly impressed. It’s almost like the best food truck tacos, only on a massive scale. Their free salsa bar has a wide variety of styles to suit all tastes. They also have fresh made horchata! I think the fact that they stick to a simple menu that focuses on thier specialty… and sets them apart for it! Chips are free to take as well. Word to the wise, the Tripitas plate looks great in the menu pic, but beware …tripe is an acquired taste! Thier massive space make it prime for a large crowd or planned family event. Kid friendly and the service is fast and first rate.

Qué pasó. Years ago when I lived in El Paso this was my go to place. Came back for holiday and was embarrassed. Heath violations, customers with food from other restaurants , mainly from KFC & Whatburger poor service, improper food handling, and yes, spoke to someone who claimed to be in charge, Janet was on name tag. Just have nothing good to say.

This Taco Tote likes to pull some shanagans. If you go through the drive through 15 to 20 minutes before closing the cashier will try to deter you from ordering by “letting you know that it will be about 25 minutes to have your order out” in hopes that you will say nevermind and leave. Maybe close the drive through if you don’t want people ordering before closing time. I’m sure the owners wouldn’t appreciate losing extra business because the crew wants to clean up. We got our food in less than 5 minutes by the way. Not a very good business practice.

If your going to spend $35 for Carne asada tacos for 2 people there are many better choices locally then taco tote. This used to be a place to get quick simple cheap tacos but not anymore, quality has gone down and prices have gone up, better choices elsewhere.

I Usually eat tacos from a food truck because I feel like they are made with more love than a restaurant but this place is good. That lunch special price is CLUTCH!! Only bad thing about that is you only get a choice of one of the four meat options for that special tho…Its clean, they have free chips, you can pick your toppings from a bar ,which does have a sneeze guard for adult which is good but I wish the toppings were covered from kids who don’t care where they sneeze. The suaces are good and add a great flavor to already well seasoned meat not too salty either. My only gripe with this place is the rice. Its no bueno. Someone need to talk to a Mexican grandma and get the step by step recipe. The space inside is large and spacious. The decorations are nice and subtly not too over the top, music was great for the atmosphere. I’d recommend this place.
