My friend drove me all the way from Christiansburg just to try this place and it was absolutely worth the trip. We had the chicken birria tacos with a side of rice, and they were fantastic.
The birria was juicy and flavorful, and the consommé they served on the side wasn’t just a thin broth, it was rich, full of chopped herbs, onions, and depth. Dipping the tacos in it took them to a whole new level.
They also include two sauces on the side. The red one is very spicy, so I’d recommend trying just a little unless you’re used to high heat. The green one is milder and still tasty.
Don’t forget to squeeze the lime over the tacos; it adds a fresh kick and brings everything together beautifully.

Our party of 10 went here for Lunch on a Saturday in mid June. While it is a very small dining area, they were able to pull the tables together for us. Overall, the wide selection of Mexican dishes met with our approval. And, the food was hot, good, and tasty. The negative was the service, as they were slow in bringing out the initial supply of chips and salsa. And, while serving the salsa, the server poured an entire bowl of salsa on one person in our party and onto another in our party. The clothes were ruined and soaked with salsa from head to toe. While the server did help us clean up the huge mess, there was no offer of apologies or any offer of making up for the malady.

This was definitely the best food I’ve had in a very, very long time and some of the best food that I’ve ever had. Yummy fresh ingredients. It was amazing. My margarita was absolutely perfect. I love the cup that it came in. I just wish you had a little music on the patio, but other than that, it was perfect. I can’t wait to come back. It’s worth a two hour ride from my house.
Don’t mind my goofy son trying to be a creeper in my photo lol

This place has the best quesabirria tacos that we’ve found in SWVA! They have other great tacos too!

I spent $40 for 2 burrito meals for pickup, when I got home, the food looked like slop in a to go container and it was cold. I lived very close, shouldn’t of been cold. I waited over 15 minutes then she asked what was I waiting for. Huh? My order. You cant remember? Once I got home I called back to ask where my rice was and she hung up on me. So I called back and the same girl just left the line open. Rude service and waste of money.
Will never be back. There’s a million Mexican places here to spend my money at.

A cozy atmosphere just like home.
A wonderful service and an even more amazing food.
They have wonderful specials every also!
I’ve only written 2 reviews my whole life.
I’m 33 years old.
First on was this place where the food was extremely horrible and the service even worst.
And then this Magic…

Surprisingly good. This was obviously a convenience store once upon a time that has been converted to a restaurant. The food was priced right in line with most other Mexican restaurants in our area, but the portion size was much more than any restaurant that I’ve been to in the Roanoke area. My boyfriend and I both had the Saturday lunch specials, mine was chicken, his was beef, and they were HUGE and tasted great! We also ordered tamales as side items, and they also tasted good.
Great little hidden gem!

Delicious food, sat at an outdoor booth. Taco recommendation was on point and the young lady who took our order was great. Definitely order the cheese birra taco, you won’t be disappointed. Would go back again for sure.

We went for lunch and it was only slightly busy after the 12pm rush, we were seated and the food was delicious and fresh. Will definitely go again to try more dishes. I tried the shrimp quesadilla and it was the best I’ve had in Roanoke.

Oh my goodness. I’ve lived a half mile from here and just went in with friends to try it out. It was fantastic. The guacamole was amazingly fresh and tasted amazing. The chicken enchiladas and beef enchiladas are wonderful. Even the refried beans were quite tasty. The quesadilla was overflowing with steak. The Taco Rojas was not only great but was presented beautifully. The arroz con pollo was so good, our two friends ate all of theirs after they said they were going to take half of it home. Amazing drink selection. Don’t think twice about going. The service was great as well, making it quite an enjoyable experience. Very authentic.
