Just a little hole in the corner tucked away in time. My mom made it out tradition to eat here every Saturday when I was growing up. So it was only fitting to continue it with my kids when I had them since she passed when I was 8 yrs old. The people are always so friendly and treat you as though your family. The food just as it was when it started out never changed anything when it got passed to another owner. Who cares and runs it just as the man before did. I have never heard a single complaint about this place.

Oh my goodness what a great find. Lived in Cville for several years but this was my first visit to TNS. It was delicious! I had the lunch special that was a great deal. Two chili dogs, slaw and fries for $8. It was two meals for me! I will definitely be back!!!

As a first time customer the experience was great! We got a to-go order and the food was delicious!! Highly recommend the meat nachos and the chicken quesadillas. But the big stand out by far was the staff. I met a guy who had worked there since 1980 and he’s so proud to be on that team! He told us how it got started and made menu recommendations. Super nice man! Highly recommend!!!

I placed an order for Pick up – Ordered chicken nachos. When I received My order, they were on a half shell with pieces of chicken, lettuce, tomato, and a squirt of sour cream. I was imagining the Mexican version of chicken nachos with the queso and shredded chicken. This was just nasty! I’m not happy with this order at all & definitely won’t be back!

My husband and I ate there 3 weeks ago. It was our first and last time. I ordered soft tacos, my husband ordered crunchy. My tacos had been microwaved so long that the tortilla bonded to the paper. I tried to pull it apart but just ended up having to use a fork to eat it. I thought I had let it cool enough but apparently not. It was so hot it blistered my top and bottom lip and my tongue. I asked the waitress if I was correct in the assumption that my tacos were microwaved. She said yes but it should have been only for a few seconds to melt the cheese. She notified the kitchen about the issue. But I promise you they didn’t care. And they aren’t authentic tacos. They don’t taste bad, but it’s the same as if you made them at home. Our waitress was lovely. The only bright spot. I have photos of my lip. Just in case there was an issue. But thankfully after a couple of days it healed.

I haven’t had the subs but I can say the tacos are some of my favorite in town. They get busy at lunch and there isn’t alot of parking outside. This is a mom and pop type place so the staff is eclectic and the atmosphere has a unique down town feel. You order the food standing at a counter food truck style and someone brings it to your table. With a little more attention to detail of maintenance and cleanliness I would give 5 stars
