I don’t know if this place is under new ownership or what but it’s going downhill quickly. Food tastes bland and basic now, menu is confusing and non descriptive, and worst of all the last 3 times I have gone they have a woman taking orders who doesn’t speak a lick of English and will just blank stare you in the face and completely mess up your order or not give you all you asks for. If you’re looking for a good truck I highly recommend driving the extra 10 minutes and going to Rico’s Tacos in Tacoma. Great people, great service and great food.

The food is great, we had the chimi plate and a taco plate. Also got a couple of bean and cheese burritos. Just be sure to bring cash, cards not excepted . We be back to try more, I hear the tortas are awesome

Tacos Micoacan is a food truck located on the lot of a gas station. The truck is covered in photos and the menu. I ordered the beef burrito. It was very good and tasty. The two sauces pictured were great. The green guacamole based sauce balanced the spicy flavor of the red sauce. The meal was prepared once ordered, so it was warm and fresh. It was a good sized burrito that was very filling. The staff were very friendly and answered my questions. I will definitely be returning to Tacos Michoacán next time I’m in the area. A nice addition to the Gig Harbor eating scene.

Pastor had zero flavor and the cilantro was spoiled. Adobada burrito seems to have changed too many beans and the adobada was not as flavorful as it had been in the past.
I’ll try again soon to see if this was just an off day and I’ll try reviews but it was very bad today no flavor and cilantro was black and tasted spoiled

This place was an accidental find when driving through Gig Harbor. I will definitely be back. Yummy I ordered pork tacos and a torta. Hit the spot !

Food is really good but the cash only payment is a little inconvenient (I understand why they prefer cash or card). Hopefully this can change in the future. I ate there once out of curiosity and had to go find an ATM when I saw the cash only sign before ordering. There is another food truck in the area offering similar food which accepts cash or cards, so that’s an option.

2nd time. Seems totally different and the menu has changed. Super bummed, we got 4 plate tacos and they were extremely dry, no salsa or vineger veggies like last time. My husbands burrito was mostly tortilla. Everything is just going down hill around here.

Stopped to get supper for my family. Truck was open, there was a woman working and I asked for tacos (didn’t get a chance to say what kinds) and she said something and shook her head no and walked away. Super disappointing. Have always had good experiences before.
