Absolutely gem on Freemont! Tucked in between a couple shops, one might miss this delicious and authentic Mexican food. Birria soup, enchiladas, tacos and Micheladas were delicious! I think we stay on Freemont just to go here. Two people and our meal and drinks cost $81 but it is so worth every penny!

The food is delicious! Ordered a bunch of street tacos and the carne asada fries and they were to die for. Easily my top five best tacos I’ve ever had. I have ZERO notes regarding the food.
The ambiance, however, needs to be worked on a bit. The Mexican music playing was fantastic, but kept cutting out and was very choppy, likely due to poor connection with the Bluetooth speaker system.
My other complaint is that ALL of the smoke detectors are somehow low on battery. They constantly chirp at different intervals, and sometimes twice in a row. PLEASE REPLACE THE BATTERIES

OMG!! We were hoping for authentic Mexican, and we were not disappointed. The birria was amazing, I for the Raman and Tyler ordered two tacos. We paid just under $40 and we could not finish it!

Very flavourful and perfectly spiced

Not the cleanest place to eat, but good/very good Mexican and cheap on Fremont street. Nachos shown. It’s been there for years.

Based on the two street tacos I had here, one chicken and one chorizo, the rest of the food has to be fantastic.

They have a salsa bar that’s covered, with ice cold limes and two different salsas, a hot red one and a less hot green one. I don’t know if they’re homemade, but they were both delicious.

The chicken and the chorizo we’re both flavorful, the cilantro and onions were fresh, and during a slow moment I saw them cleaning stuff in the back that didn’t look dirty, which is always a good sign.

I’m here two more full days, and I’ll be back for a burrito.

Since I tried this restaurant, I’ve always been craving mexican foods. When they said authentic, it is truly authentic. Huge servings and just the right amount of saltiness. Oh by the way, they have the best horchata.

Seeking somewhere to eat in Vegas can be very tricky. Everywhere you go, it’s very gimmicky. We were staying at the Plaza hotel and didn’t feel like eating there, so we ventured into the Fremont mall. We found this tiny restaurant that packed quite a punch with their food. We ordered two adobada, with pineapple tacos and two asada. One bean and cheese burrito and two canned Cokes. Price was about $35, but it was well worth it. The stand next to theirs sold us a cup of ice for fifty cents. I highly recommend this place. Simply yet effective.

Following a less than satisfactory experience at Tacos El Gordo, the food preparer assured me that I would not regret dining there. Indeed, I did not. I initially ordered carnitas, and subsequently returned for the carne asada, which I found to be exceptionally delicious. I highly recommend it.
