The staff was incredibly friendly, attentive, and welcoming, and they truly made our experience special. We had a wonderful time overall. While the food could be more flavorful for my personal taste, I understand that this reflects traditional German cuisine.
I would definitely recommend this place to anyone interested in tasting authentic German food, learning about German culture, dancing to live German music, and enjoying outstanding service.
The Bavarian pretzel was sooo good! I’d come back for that alone! It was giant and the beer cheese was beering for sure! If you love beer cheese, then you’ve found your match!
We also did the sausage sampler. Not bad. I like the cheese knackwurst the most.
I also really enjoyed the live entertainment. The singers/musicians had a set list and they also came out and had people blow into a German horn and made a fun time out it. The decor definitely reminded me of tradition Germany.
For entrees, we did the edelweiss platter and hackbraten (German meatloaf).
If this is your first time here, then the idolize platter is definitely the way to go because you try a lot of their popular items and you get a lot of common German sides, too.
The hackbraten was played super nicely. The meatloaf was the star for sure and the gravy was a nice touch.
The staff was so kind and welcoming. The live music was so fun! They used so many types of instruments and I even got to learn about some cool facts. Dinner and a show! PLEASE come here !
I stopped by this place on Saturday, January 10, 2026, for the first time in about two years. I just wanted to sit at the bar, have a beer, and order some food and leave.
The bartender was very difficult to hear—her voice was extremely low and the music was loud, so communication was already a problem. I ordered a beer and was given a menu. After about 10 minutes, when I was ready to order food, she came back and asked if I was staying or ordering. I told her I was about to order.
She then said a party of 16 people wanted to sit at the bar and asked if I was okay sitting by the bar and I said yes, I was fine. She walked away, came back, and suddenly told me that if I wanted to order food, I had to move to a table. I told her I preferred to stay at the bar. She then said she has no choice to close my tab and ask me to leave.
She brought me a bill for the beer — which I hadn’t even touched yet because I was still looking at the food menu. I explained that if they needed the bar for a large party, I should have been told before I ordered anything. I refused to pay for a drink I never even drank and left.
This was extremely unprofessional and poorly handled. The staff was not friendly, and there was no effort to take care of the customer I felt uncomfortable and disrespected by how I was treated. I don’t want to assume bad intentions, but the way the situation was handled was not appropriate. I will never return to this place.
