Went there today to get a bean rice and chesse burrito for breakfast. On a normal day I am charged $8.00 for said burrito today however the UA theater next door had an event with lines around the block and when I went to order said bean rice and cheese burrito I was told that the burrito is $15 I kindly told the dude no thank you and took my $20 and went to Tacos Galvan where I paid $7.00 for the same burrito and it tasted better and came with a free side of a cup of beans grilled onions and pickled vegetables. BECAUSE OF THIS ILLEGAL PRICE GAUGING I WILL NO LONGER BUY FROM THIS BUSINESS. Way to go losing a loyal customer of years

This taco stand will be appreciated as long as I draw breath. The food is solid, above average in quality in compare to taco stands and even dine in taquerias, and that’s before addressing the value proposition this outfit offers.

I was living on skid row, where everything I owned was in my pack, no stove/kitchen, and very little money. A cooked meal was a luxury I could scarcely afford, though this was a rare treat. One day/week, Wednesdays perhaps, their already inexpensive tacos are even less expensive. Like laughably low cost. I think they were like a buck-forty-five or somesuch. Later after I had some money, I’d spring for an aqua fresca, also deserving of accolades.

Don’t sleep on Tacos Mexico. Yummy tacos that won’t break the bank.

This place has really good burritos. I tried the lengua burrito and came back the next day to try the beef cheeks. Both were excellent. Service is very fast, so this place is perfect if you don’t have time.

Burrito was fire and was in my hand damn near before my card was approved. Amazing service. They got that real horchata! There’s a lot of fakes out there but I like the flavor consistency and ice ratio. Quick and easy. Will definitely stop by again if I need a fix downtown.

Taco Wednesdays here for $1.50 from 8am to 8pm only or at least thats what the sign read. The parking lot adjacent wanted $5 for 10 min so I drove around the block to find street parking. They didnt have asada ready so I just got al pastor instead. If they had asada, would’ve been a 5/5 experience (minus parking because $5 for 10min, guess thats LA downtown price gahhdamn but he did say parking all day was $12).

Started 2026 here and had a disappointing experience. I ordered a $10 quesadilla but was charged $17, which included $7 in tax. When I questioned the overcharge, the cashier was dismissive and didn’t offer a solution or compensation. If you don’t speak Spanish, be aware service may not be as straightforward.

I’ve been here a few times throughout the years and it has not disappointed. The locale is pretty small, there are a few tables and chairs and a small little area with countertop where you can stand and eat. The food is good and the staff are attentive and friendly.

The only downside (which has nothing to do with the business itself) is that it’s located in the heart of downtown and there will be transients/druggies nearby which can make it uncomfortable to eat there. It’s definitely more of a grab and go than sit and eat type of place.

This spot was a vibe. I recommend the horchata. We were able to get some tacos for the low and the tortilla tasted great. Open late too. They have 2 tables out front and no bathroom but it’s a level up from a taco truck. You are still eating roadside tho.

Came through for some late night tacos after a laker game.

TJ style tacos, ~$2.50/taco. I got Cabeza, al pastor, and carne asada. Al pastor didn’t feel like it was cut from a trumpo but still was good. Carne cut into small sized pieces for the taco and had some caramelized edges. Cabeza was soft and cooked down well. That was my favorite of the group.

All tacos are TJ style so they tiny, 2-3 bites max per taco. So order a bunch if you’re hungry
