Cooking has been a passion for Chef Albert Hernandez since a very young age. Growing up in a single mother home in Phoenix, Chef Albert was instilled with grit and a strong work ethic. He deeply admired his mother’s culinary creativity and ingenuity as she would create elaborate meals out of seemingly nothing on a shoe-string budget. The joy that he and his brothers experienced when his mother would cook is what eventually drove his desire to become a Chef. It is this same feeling of home cooked happiness that Chef strives to provide with every traditional Mexican dish he curates at Tacos and Mas. I ordered from a third-party service, so I can’t speak for the atmosphere; but, the Carne Asada burrito is amazing! The chips are great, and the guac is amazing (and guacamole is my favourite food, so I can be a tough critic, lol). I tried to order the flan, but didn’t receive it. This could 100% be a fault in communication between the third-party and the restaurant, so I can’t fault them for it! All and all, I’d recommend. (:

One of the BEST tacos I’ve ever had (salmon taco). It had pickled onions, and was perfectly seasoned. I don’t really care about the atmosphere because I ordered via Doordash. Their prices are great too. Also…the elote was fire.

Just had this place for the first time through Door dash and their Pollo Asado Taco was absolutely delicious. Best $5 I’ve ever spent.
Their Carne Asada Burrito is good (and enormous), but far too little meat to rice/beans ratio for my personal taste. Great Guac too. All ingredients are top notch delicious. I loved the side jalapeños!

Drove all the way here to eat and they told me it’s not a real restaurant. It’s a ghost kitchen and I can only order online or they need to put that under the title up there a restaurant name I wasted my only precious lunch time trying to find a place which doesn’t even have a sign on the outside, total waste of my lunch now I’m gonna be hungry the rest of my work shift because I have to go back to work now. These ghost kitchens are just getting out of control.

I ordered chicken quesadilla using a delivery app. Their description said it has onions, bell peppers, quacamole, etc… But what I got didn’t have these things. The quesadillas were still nice.

I had the chicken quesadilla with quacamole and sour cream! It was cooked perfectly and the chicken was tender and flavorful. The quacamole was basic but the quesadilla made up for it.
