Absolutely enjoyed our food today. Our son took us to a wonderful Mexican restaurant. Bar none!! Never had a “noodle soup” like this before. It was Menudo with noodles and Seemed like oxtail meat delicious!!! And then type of empanadas stuffed with potatoes. Something my mother used to make when we were little. Highly recommend it! And the service was awesome.

I was going to mention it to the manager but, I brought in a party of 20 and didn’t want to cause a negative scene. My group was hungry, thirsty, and festive which at moments seemed to overwhelm the waitress. The owner realized that and ended our experience with some shots of tequila for the (10) adults on the house! Thank you Sir!!
Overall, I would recommend this place and will go back for that 5 Star Review.

This is my go to spot while being in here in Colorado!!! Gabby and Hugo are ALWAYS on point! The service is impeccable! Food wasn’t the norm though. Not the normal seasoning… (lacking…bland) and my fries were cooked so damn hard…even my queso didn’t make them soft!!! lol but they fixed it and made me some new ones. But this is still my favorite place!! Did you get a new cook??? Just asking. But I’ll be back!!!

We decided to go on Taco Tuesday, but this time the only things that arrived on time were the chips and our margaritas. Our tacos arrived cold, and when we tried to tell the waitress, her cell phone seemed more important. So we decided to eat the cold tacos even though there were other customers at other tables waiting. We didn’t want to wait any longer. We love this place and their drinks are wonderful, but the service today wasn’t good. We appreciate the host’s good attention and service with our margaritas!

Cute place, with a small stage for entertainment? Not sure. Husband had fajitas and they were delicious. I had steak burrito, but the sauce was too spicy and they didn’t have an alternative. Had flan for dessert, generous portions.

OK, overall I really liked this place. Having said that I would like to leave my impressions on the food. Anybody that knows my reviews know that I review a ton of Mexican restaurants, this was suggested to me a while back so I thought I would stop in and check it out. It is an unimpressive strip mall off the side of the road, it’s a little unassuming as you drive by it.
We shared the Queso Birria Tacos and the Alambres platter with Carne Asada & Pastor.
The Quesa Berria tacos, were flaccid, no melted cheese, and the meat was pretty tasteless. The waitress had suggested them, but really they were not much to look at or eat. Extremely disappointing.
On the other hand, the Alambres platter with tortillas was exceptional! I wish I would’ve been more hungry, because I would’ve eaten so much more!
I will go back and try other things, obviously the Quesabirria tacos were definitely something you should pass on, at least until they get their recipe right. If you think I’m being cruel, my family is partially Mexican and these do not pass as proper or even passable Quessabirria tacos.
The live music on Friday night and the vibe was pretty great, I will update the review later to let you know any other dishes that I found that were good!
A definite place that you might want to try though.

Athenas Canal
My friend and I came to this place for lunch, and it was a great choice. We had the $3.99 tacos (barbacoa, Al pastor, and shrimp). They were very good! I will definitely be back for some more. The atmosphere is good it was just a little empty when we went, but the waitress was great and the drinks were amazing. I am looking forward to trying some more options. I would recommend the is place and it is not highly priced.

Stopped in on a Saturday night and it was a little busy but we were able to get a table right away. Really loved the atmosphere here. The drinks are out of this world and the food was delicious. I got the fried bacon wrapped cheese stuffed shrimp and my friend got the torta and potato empanadas. They have so many great dishes to choose from. Definitely worth a visit if your in the area.

My favorite go-to place for Mexican food and Margaritas. Their Quesabirria tacos are some of the very best I’ve ever had. I absolutely love their Alambres. And their Margaritas are wonderful. The staff is also so friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend if you’re looking for good, authentic Mexican food!

This is my go to place for my Mexican. Normally the service is great and staff is on top of it. Tonight was a whole different experience. Took a long time for drinks, and our order to be taken. Asked for a refill took cup and beverage never came back.
Waitresses would rather giggle and play then pay attention the their customers.
Extremely disappointed in the service tonight. It will be awhile before I come back, if I do.
