We had been meaning to visit this restaurant for quite a while now and finally decided to do it on Sunday, and we were not disappointed!
We were warmly greeted by the proprietor and quickly seated and given menus and brought drinks. We decided on a selection of Huaraches and tacos…they were quickly brought out to us and we were very impressed with the presentation, everything looked and smelled so tasty…..and it was, very! Personally I enjoyed the Huaraches very much indeed, I had never had those before and I can’t wait to have them again.
The restaurant itself was very clean and had a nice family vibe, the staff there were attentive and nice.
We will definitely by back next time we are reading in that area .

Stumbled upon this gem while looking for another restaurant and I must say it was the best decision I’ve made all day! It doesn’t get more authentic than this. A very very cozy and homely place with amazing food. I took some tacos to go just because how extra awesome they were! Must try for anyone looking for authentic mexican food!

There are no drink refills, coke, tea, juice, nothing. You get a can drink or bottle. No fountain drinks. I asked about tea, just regular iced tea, no refills in it either.
The meat is very lean on some days, others, way to much fat. You will never know until you order. Danville is limited with eating choices, so I tried my best to like this place, it’s just not very good, and they will dollar you to death.
Their salsa has more of a pasta flavor and texture than any salsa I’ve ever ate anywhere.

Small business in a converted house. The food was fresh however small servings even for a lunch menu. I was overcharged $10 for the meal, but I was planning to leave that much for a tip.

This place is PERFECT! While working in this small town, we had lunch at the other place first. Very disappointed. We decided to try Tacos los Reyes and admittedly, was very skeptical. The sweetest lady greeted us, took our order, cooked the food, then checked us out when we were finished! The food, THE FOOD! I would choose this restaurant over all the others, even if it were sitting in the middle of a large city! The lady working the day were stopped in was so sweet, kind, and helpful. If you are ever in the Danville area, please give them a try! You won’t be disappointed.

Excellent Mexican dish a staple of the Mexican cuisine. The elaboration of this dish requires a ton of ingredients, and the process is unthinkable. Many have tried to have a real staple of Mexican cuisine, and where all have failed, this small place has done the unthinkable in USA soil for the first time in my 30-plus years of seeing places where they advertised authenticity of a Mexican dish. This dish has been given a thumbs up from international chefs, and this establishment shall be considered a pioneer of the authenticity of the tradition of a Mexican dish with a Michelin Star. Owners can be proud of their roots and for this dish. The name this dish is known in many regions of the Mexican cuisine is without more to say MENUDO. The big staple of this restaurant.

Authentic mexican tacos. They have 7 types, so if you like tongue or tripe or face meat; they have it. Atmosphere is nice and general turnaround on to-go orders are around 10 minutes or less. If you don’t want tacos they do have a hamburger and fries plate for 6 bucks.
