This taco stand truly lives up to the hype. We arrived around 6:30 PM and there was a line of about ten people, but it moved incredibly fast, so don’t let a queue deter you.
The Al Pastor is without a doubt the star of the show here. Cooked on a traditional trompo and kissed by the flame, it has an unparalleled flavor with perfect charring. It’s easily the best Al Pastor in the city and an absolute must-try.
The Asada was also delicious. It features a great marinade and delivers that wonderful smokiness you expect from the grill.
I opted for the taco plate, which came with rice and beans. Honestly, these seemingly simple sides were a pleasant surprise and really rounded out the meal.
If you’re in Long Beach and craving some outstanding tacos, particularly the Al Pastor, this place should be at the top of your list.

Came over on taco Tuesday (they do not have a deal). I was debating if I should get a mulita, but I should stick with taco Tuesday’s tradition. Price was reasonable for tacos ($2.5 each). We got 3 el pastor tacos, 2 cabaza tacos, and pina juice. Meat was tender, juice, fresh, and hot. Pina was refreshing, and not as sweet. Staff were friendly, and services were prompt. The guy who prep my el pastor tacos has good skills as you can see from my video. I enjoyed watching him prepping my food. They are located in a corner of 2 busy streets. There was a line when I got there at around 7pm, but the line moved pretty quickly. I will come back again and try their mulitas.
There is a small parking next to the taco stand that is belong to an auto body shop that customers can park.

Had this a few weeks ago when my brother brought me some for dinner. Decided to come and get some more for taco tuesday. $1.50 for al pastor tacos which is such a good deal. The salsa and sides are top tier. I highly recommend this place. Get there early. They open at 6pm. I was the first one here at 530 but ended up waiting in the car after asking when they would be ready and by 550pm there was already a line of 8 people and after i got in line it got up to 20 people.

Stop 1 on our taco crawl:
We split 2 Al Pastor tacos and 1 asada. The pastor was really yummy but the asada was a little greasy. The tortillas were hard and over cooked? Not as soft as we wanted.
Edit: best Al pastor meat of the crawl

Just like DF. Pastor was crispy and juicy. I was not a fan of the torta milanesa. Many flavors of aguas. Large salsa bar

I visit Long Beach California every summer and was recommended this location by a local.
Their 10 dollar family meal is amazing value. It comes with 3 tacos, beans, and rice. I got the al pastor as it was on the wheel. They were amazing! Slightly charred, seasoned perfectly, and a good portion. You make your order, they give you your food, and you garnish with whatever you like.
Obviously, it’s 5 stars in my book.
Stop by, grab a bite to eat, and talk to some nice people.
Give it a try!
