I would call myself a regular here and I really have nothing to complain about. I’ve had their tacos, burritos, tortas and quesadillas !! Some days are better than others, however, always delicious. The Verde and red sauce is pretty good as well. It’s well-known spot so make sure you get there ahead of time if you want lunch.

This is my favorite taco spot in Des Moines and probably has the best torta around. They have a great selection of meats for all food. Never had a bad meal after eating here the last few years. They are fast and the food is always piping hot.

I heard the tacos del pastor here were amazing so we stopped by and they are delicious! The best part? This place is for those who can handle heat. Each order came with a serano pepper and their red salsa definitely burnt my mouth but it was so good! We got tacos del pastor and one carne asada quesadilla. Kind service too. The worst part? Not a problem for me but keep in mind this is a taco truck. They have tables outside but when we went it was incredibly hot so we ate inside our car. They did move some tables under the shade but it was just too humid for us. There was plenty of parking spots for us to park and order. They also give you a buzzer so you know when your order is ready which was nice so we waited in the car. I also liked that they had a big trash can outside to throw away your garbage when you’re done. Overall, I loved it and if I’m ever in the area, I would stop by to see if they are there!

We got a variety of tacos. The best ones were adobada. They added a Serrano pepper and grilled onions which give them the extra taste you need in every bite. The salsas are fresh and with the right amount of ingredients. Tacos weren’t greasy. The meat tasted fresh. Onions and cilantro were chopped well. The food was so good and makes you wanting more. You can tell the ingredients are fresh, there’s no reused oil taste in your mouth.
Service:
Friendly and good customer service. They include a good amount of napkins in the order too (and the good kind not the flimsy ones). They accept debit cards and cash.
Time:
They were quick. They don’t take forever to make the food. They give you a buzzer to let you know your food is ready.
This place always has a ton of people ordering. That’s a sign that the food is good.
