This tucked away restaurant offers classic and delicious tacos al vapor from the streets of Guadalajara, Mexico. The meats for our tacos were fall-apart-tender, super flavorful, and the amount was far more than generous, piled high onto their housemate tortillas. Their habanero salsa is delicious and brings some heat, while their green one is zesty and delightful! The horchatas are super creamy, but somehow still light and refreshing. They are not super cinnamony, which was more to my taste, so that was perfect ♡
They serve both cabeza (beef head) and cachete (beef cheek), which both come from the beef cheek, but the different is that the cachete option has no cheek fat included with the meat! I had never heard of that, but that was super cool. I still ordered the cabeza, since it’s tenderness and flavor are unrivaled in my head.
For us, it was around $45 for 11 generously-served tacos, two regular horchatas, and one Michelada.

I highly recommend their asada taco, it’s super delicious!! Their asada tastes high quality and they give a generous portion size for the value. Their sauces are also tasty and they have a self service sauce bar.

Looks newly remodeled or newly opened. Huge place and really good food! We had the cachete, lengua, and cabeza tacos that were little street taco size but packed with meat! The asada burrito had a ton of meat and good flavor! We loved the salsas, too!

If you like Menudo Jalisco style (no hominy) this is the place to come on the weekend by far the best flavor and the cleanest broth , Al vapor tacos are really good as well .
