I visited with a buddy from college who loves this place. The food was good but a bit pricey in my opinion. Our meals were a drinks, four tacos, and a soup of some kind. I really liked the soup. Each meal was approximately $22.

Great Authentic Mexican Food! I was so glad to run across this place. They have great tacos and tamales. Don’t expect chips and salsa to start. Instead you will get fresh cilantro and chopped onions along with a delicious bowl of beans. Also, if you like tongue, tripe, gut, etc. you can find it on the menu here.

True authentic Mexican food with great service! We have been going there since they opened. Feels like we are eating in Mexico, not Chelsea, AL. You won’t get Tex-Mex here! It’s the real deal!! Try the horchata or jamaica for your drink. For something you don’t find in most Mexican restaurants in Bham area, order the huaraches, chavindeca, and/or the sopes.

FAKE Horchata water. Made from powder mix. Not the real deal. Disappointed. Plus, Al pastor meat is DRY and without flavor. DEFINITELY NOT HOW IS USED TO BE.
