I always have a hard time deciding between the shrimp tack or bean & cheese burrito – they are so delicious and the salsa is amazing. Sometimes I get it for take away when I’m having a party – it’s that good. If you like texmex you will not be disappointed here.

Love this little local spot for some solid tacos. This place has some good quality meats and everything is seasoned really well. I got four tacos with chicken, Asada, and al pastor, and a torta de asada.
Great torta. Was not expecting it to have melted cheese but was pleasantly surprised. Definitely coming back for a quick lunch or dinner.

This is the best Mexican food. I’ve had in over 20 years. I grew up in San Diego right by the border of Tijuana and it doesn’t get more authentic than this place. I will definitely be back. This is a hidden gem. If you haven’t tried it yet, you are missing out. Best California burrito, hands-down. The consume for the Beria was authentic and done the right way. The queso Beria quesadilla was as good as I remember when I was a kid. I’ve been searching for a place like this for a very long time and I am sure glad I found it. I can’t wait to come back. Thank you, angel for your amazing hospitality.

For a quick post-workout dinner, I stopped by Tacos el Juanito at 9pm. Predictably, I could make my order immediately at the counter. I got 5 tacos ($2.45 each cash / $2.55 each credit card).
The tacos came with the usual diced onion and cilantro garnish, with lime wedges and radish slices on the side. The cashier also asked if I wanted grilled onions and peppers (of course).
The tacos seemed generously topped with meat for their size. The tortilla shells seemed soft, fluffy, and warm.
The meats themselves seemed acceptable. The asada, while crispy, felt dry and lacked the desired smokiness. The other meats also seemed subdued in flavor. The green salsa also seemed too light on flavor.
Overall, the establishment seemed like a quotidian neighborhood taqueria. With the ubiquity of taqueries, however, it fails to stand out.

I stopped in for lunch. It was Taco Tuesday, and tacos were only 1.75. I was welcomed by a sweet girl who took my order. I tried the Pollo, Asada, and Pastor tacos. They are street taco size but filled with meat, topped with cilantro, onion, and salsa. (If you like) I also was given lime and fresh radish slices on the side. Being a salsa lover, I got some on the side, and the flavor was great! It’s flavorful, with nice heat, but not too hot. Next time I’m in Chino, I will be stopping by to try out some other menu items. This is a nice little place with seating inside and a few outside as well. Definitely family friendly and a great Taco Tuesday spot!

Everything in the menu is delicious. The place was clean and the service was excellent. The employees were friendly and helpful. My friends and I enjoyed the food and the time we spent there.

TLDR: Avoid or go else where.
This is the size of their tacos, which sadly tasted like day old leftovers. Carne asada fries were not cooked all the way. Fries weren’t even fried properly. And the Carnitas inside the torta weren’t crispy. It was vary soggy and dripping of oil. Even a quesadilla is dripping in oil and undercooked and has no color.

What can be said about street tacos? Good ones are meaty, spiced, and dressed in cilantro and onions. This place checks all the taco boxes, but what makes this taco place special are the people. The elder duo that runs the register and kitchen are kind, personable, and love making great tacos. Small conversations about the food and how it taste brought smiles all around.
I visited twice before writing this review, and I would be remiss if I didn’t come back for more. This place definitely deserves more attention for its tacos and workers. So if you’re down for some great tacos, come to Tacos El Juanito #2.
