Food was ok, not the best the area has to offer. Tacos were 6/10. Gordita could have had better masa. Agua freshca were on the sugary side. Overall, price was great but food could be better. Great location. Fan was loud until employee turned it down.

Came all the way to the city of Bell for tacos from a place called El Jefe, expecting the boss of tacos. What I got instead was a joke that wasn’t even funny.
They told me four tacos were $10.50. Then I look over and see $11.50 punched in. I asked about it and they hit me with some back-of-the-napkin logic that made zero sense. They just started tapping the top of the machine, showing 50 cents like that explained anything. Not sure if they were just dyslexic or trying to gaslight me, but the math was made up. If they needed a dollar that bad, fine, take it — just don’t act like you earned it.
The place looks like it used to mean something. Maybe it had history, maybe the owners switched, but now it’s just sad. The meat looked low quality, the tacos were slapped together like someone was in a rush to quit, and the salsa bar looked like a crime scene. I’ve had better tacos from street vendors in gentrified neighborhoods. Do better.
This place is not El Jefe. It’s more like El Intern on his last warning. Save yourself the gas money.

This place is used to have good food, so we always enjoyed ordering from there. But yesterday we ordered from there and they got our order wrong. We got a refund and we reordered again, and once again the order was wrong, but we left it at that. One of the items was a gordita, and when we opened it there was a metal object in there! It’s absolutely ridiculous! My mother could’ve gotten hurt with that! Fortunately she was using a fork and knife and that’s how she discovered it. We’ll never be ordering from there again! Be careful with your food everyone!

Came here at 3am after craving their burritos and man they do not disappoint! Got off work and drove after seeing they were open 24hrs i usually just doordash it but excellent food! The burrito de cabeza with everything is highly recommended.

The food is just super delicious. Everything is well seasoned. The horchata is delicious as well. There’s always plenty of parking, and the inside space to sit is pretty big for a family group.

Always a great place to eat! Whether it’s eating in or for takeout, the food is hot, filling, and delicious. They offer condiments like lemons, cilantro, and salsa for the food. The staff are friendly too. I’ve been coming here for years, ever since I was a kid, and the quality and flavor is always great! They are open till very late so even if you get out from work at midnight like I do sometimes, they’re open for a midnight craving.
