True authentic food delivering on truly authentic flavors. Visiting this restaurant is reminiscent of visiting places in Mexico. A large variety of options to choose from on their menu. And they offer a selection of Mexico beverage choices. Highly recommend the fish tacos. Everything is fresh in theirs grilled fish tacos. Their shrimp tacos or their tortas are two other solid options to consider. The portions will leave you full while the flavors will leave you wanting more and more.

If you just want good food, you get it here. Simple eatery style, complete with the Western Union window and a variety of dry goods and decor around the seating area. Order at the counter, listen for your name to be yelled, pick up your tray and enjoy! Reasonable prices, great tasting (and fresh) food, full salsa bar, and the best horchata I think I’ve ever had! Highly recommend!

Top 3 street taco spot in KC for me and probably the one I go to most frequently. Small detail, but I love how small they chop the onions for the tacos! Some places mess that up and it always annoys me! I’m pretty exclusive to carne asada here, but everyone I go with likes whatever they get.

The Highlights:
• The Meats: The Al Pastor is incredible—perfectly marinated with that sweet and savory kick. The Carne Asada is consistently tender, and if you’re adventurous, the Lengua (beef tongue) and Tripa are some of the best in the city—crispy, rich, and cooked to perfection.
• Birria Tacos: They serve excellent Quesabirria tacos with consommé for dipping. It’s rich, cheesy, and messy in the best way possible.

Ladies greeted us with a smile, our food was warm and tasted good. Loved their spicy sauce in clear container yum . Their tamales weren’t my fav and not too impressed with their beans or rice but everything else was great. Loved the many options for drinks although I was bummed as they had no agua de Pina but maybe next time ☺️ liked their street tacos too.

Super solid traditional taco joint. I’ve been going here for years, and am always totally satisfied. Great tamales, street tacos, tortas, and burritos. They make an extensive menu, and have really great salsa and pico bar. Tons of seating inside and out. I love to grab lunch here. They stay open late on the weekends.

Im pretty sure they are Veryyy known for the birria soup/tacos because everyone had them, But la señorita wanted regular tacos Al pastor so I got the Mexican plate with rice beans and 3 tacos of your kind of meat. The rice was so good the beans if my two year old ate them they were great the tacos were good but I am so use to having my Al pastor en trompo and toast if I make sense I can tell it was just grilled and marinated type. My son chose taquitos de pollo which came on three with lettuce and sour cream and cheese so perfect. My husband chose nachos and tacos de asada yes those were delicious. They have there own little salsa area of a lot of variety pico de gallo, jalapeños, salsa verde and more they rate them to mild to hot and etc. warning!!! The green salsa is not avocado salsa it is tremendous spicy lol yes we made that mistake. The horchata refreshing and hope to come back and try these known birria plates.
