Food was great. Tacos were served with two corn shells as they should be so they don’t fall apart. Real Hispanic dining and atmosphere. The salsas consistency was one of my favorites, for the complimentary chips and salsa.

We had dinner here with our girls wrestling team the night before their tournament. 12 people in total. The staff was amazing at accommodating us, and super attentive to our tables. The horchata was a big hit with the girls, and the food was phenomenal! Tons of options, big portions, and everything was so fresh! Everyone said their meals were great! I had the taco salad but subbed veggies for meat to make it a vegetarian option. It was so good, and the shell was perfectly crispy. Definitely recommend giving this place a try!! You won’t be disappointed!

Honestly they got the worse customer service, my wife ordered food for delivery from here while I was at work and they charged $8.00 delivery fee when we’re not even a mile away and everything was wrong. When she called to complain they said there was nothing they could or would do about it. Today she went and ordered food picked it up got home all the topping on her burrito were wrong again and when she called they said to come back that they’d remake it, she drives there and then the tell her they won’t because they’re “too busy” so if they mess your food up don’t expect a refund or for them to make it right.

This used to be one of my top places, but unfortunately it has moved way down on the list. I’ve been here several times, including recently for lunch, and the food was just subpar and my burrito gave me the Ick. On our last visit, they didn’t have any chips, which was disappointing.
The portion sizes are good, but the experience overall has been inconsistent. The salsa also seems to taste different each time. The waitstaff hasn’t been particularly friendly during recent visits, which added to the letdown.

We stopped by Tacos El Cuñado and ordered two taco trios—both steak, one American-style and the other Mexican-style—and they were absolutely delicious! The rice and beans on the side were spot-on, perfectly complementing the tacos. Everything was super yummy, and we couldn’t get enough. Highly recommend this place to anyone craving authentic flavors with a twist! We’ll definitely be back weekly as long as the quality stays this high and the prices remain reasonable. A total gem!

Honestly I’m not sure if we will come back. Our waitress ignored us and we asked a different server to take our order. The entire time there were three ladies socializing in the front.
Now the salsa was very fresh and tasty. We both enjoyed our wet burritos. The food was good, just not sure I would drive out of the way to eat here.

went on a dinner date with my mom here.. when we arrived we were seated and ordered everything was fine. all of a sudden the waiter comes to check us out and bring us to go boxes for drinks when we didn’t even receive our food yet. we were finally brought the food after about 20 minutes of waiting just to look over and see other customers (white) who were able to pay at the END of their meals. i’m not one to normally care or notice things like this, but even my mom (who is white) was disappointed with our service and we most likely wouldn’t go back there. maybe it was unintentional but definitely shifted the entire experience having to pay for food you didn’t receive nor know if you will like it just to look over and see others enjoying their food and then getting to pay at the end.. how it should’ve been.. on the other hand the food was a solid 7/10. Grand Rapids location is better by a far.

I got the eggs and chorizo breakfast plate today. Service is always friendly and fast, food is always fresh. The service and vibe of the resturant is great. This is not authentic mexican food or like any other tacos el cunado I have been to. I usually go to ones around Grand Rapids and they have authentic delicious made to order Mexican food. This location seemed to have used a seasoning packet from Meijer or something. The food was also unfortunately cold (i ordered a burrito and the middle was cold and missing ingredients) I would not recommend if wanting authentic Mexican food.. This location is the same as taco bell unfortunately.

I stopped by Tacos El Cunado and had an amazing experience! I ordered the tacos tripa Mexican style with a horchata, and the food was absolutely delicious. The meal came with rice and beans on the side, and while I usually skip those, I couldn’t resist this time—they were so good I devoured every bite. The flavors were spot-on, and everything tasted fresh and well-made. The staff were super friendly too, which made it even better. I went through the drive-thru, and the service was quick and easy. Definitely recommend this spot if you’re craving tasty tacos!
