We’ve been here before and at first I thought it was ok. Came back today (after a year or more). Wanted to try sometime different than the usual after church lunch spots.
Very happy with our visit today. Service was top notch. Food was very good. I got the double taco meal with rice and beans. All of it was great. Yeah, it’s not the greatest or fanciest looking, but I don’t care a ton about that.
Fun note – music was playing and at times the kitchen staff was having a lot of fun singing along. I thought that was cool.
It’s got a more limited menu than Los Ranchos but it’s just as good and a bit cheaper.

My favorite tacos in grand rapids ahbe come out of this location. EVERY order I have placed has been spot on correct and ready less than 5 minutes after entering the establishment. Watch these guys in the kitchen while you wait and you will be amazed with the speed and efficiency of the operation. Amazing location.

I wasn’t sure what to expect eating at this establishment. It didn’t disappoint, the food was amazing! The service was excellent. Our waitress was attentive and friendly. The food came out quickly and was very hot. The portion sizes are very BIG, plan on taking some home! The only part I didn’t care for was how loud it was in there, it’s a very busy place with lots of people coming in and out for dine in and take out. I know that’s out of the control of the owners. If you don’t mind at bit of noise I would recommend this place! I had a chicken burrito with rice and beans, I ended up getting three meals out of this one burrito! Try it, you won’t leave hungry!

Wonderful little place for good, home cooked, Mexican food. Chips and salsa some of the best we’ve had. We tried a chicken burrito plate with rice and beans and ala cart bean tostada and a chicken taco. Beans are creamy and the rice was perfect! (Tasted just like mine:). Our granddaughters enjoyed the carne asada tacos and the rice and beans. They loved it!
The chicken was tender and both the burrito and taco were packed with meat! My husband uses a large walker and had no problem getting around. Highly recommended!

Food is excellent. Large portions at a fair price. Would have given it 5 stars except the waitress wasn’t experienced. Didn’t give us straws with our drinks, had to ask numerous times for limes, or refills. My pet peeve is to ask for refills and never receiving them. at this place you won’t have that problem..do too the 40 oz cups you receive

We had dinner here kind of on a whim, and it was nice, solid, decent. I had the three-tacos plate, and it was decent. I could tell that the ingredients were high quality, but it wasn’t exactly bursting with flavor in my mouth. The ground beef was downright bland, the simmered. Pork was okay, and the chicken was the highlight. The service was friendly and great. They were doing a brisk takeout business while we sat there and ate and I can tell that it is a staple for the neighborhood that it is in. Do I wish we’d eaten somewhere else? No. Will I make a point of going to this place on purpose again? No.
