Great Mexican food.
Green salsa is tasty and the red one is real spicy as things should be.
Alambres and tortas are their strong points in my opinion but the variations of tacos is very much appreciated, not many places offer chorizo and campechanos.

First time coming to this place. The breakfast tacos are made to order so there hit and fresh. The lady was very nice and friendly. I paid $8.92 and received a good portion of food. Not bad at all. I got the potatoes and egg and bacon and eggs taco with flour tortillas, and a side of rice. Great portions ,great price

I have been coming to Tacos El Barrio in Fort Worth for over a year now, and it has easily become one of my go-to spots for tacos.
The food is consistently fresh, and you can taste the quality in every bite. The meat is always cooked just right and full of flavor. Whether it is the asada, pastor, or chicken, everything is seasoned perfectly and never dry. You can tell they take pride in what they serve because the flavors are always on point.
One of the things that keeps us coming back is the service. The lady who takes our order, even though I do not know her name, is always kind, welcoming, and very attentive. She makes sure everything is right and checks in without being overbearing. That kind of friendly service makes the experience even better.
After more than a year of visiting, the consistency is what stands out the most. Great tacos, fresh ingredients, and genuinely good service every time. Five stars without hesitation.

Good tacos—simple, no-frills, and delicious. Have I had better? Yeah. But these still get the job done when you just want something tasty and satisfying. The flavors are solid, nothing overly fancy or groundbreaking, but sometimes that’s exactly what you need.
Would I go out of my way for them? Probably not. But if I’m in the area and craving tacos, I would probably stop by.

Their tacos and horchata are yummy! I tried their chorizo and bistek and both are delicious and juicy. Service was also fast for our group of 6 at night. Everyone enjoyed their food. They can also make the corn tacos crispy if you asked for it. It was only $18 for everything. Super affordable.

Tasty food at great prices.
Came by during a nasty storm with a tornado watch over the local Haltom City area.
The food warmed me up and put us at ease.
I had 2 Pastor, 2 Cabeza and 2 Tripas. We also ordered 3 bistek.
The front of the building shows it’s age a bit, just as the rest of the area where the restaurant is located. Don’t let the storefront image discourage you from coming in and enjoying some great food by the kind people who work here.

Finally had the opportunity to swing by and check out, “Tacos El Barrio”. I had heard many great things in regards to the family friendly service and most of all the authentic food served. Got the chance to try out their Tacos al Pastor, Torta de al Pastor alongside a couple of Mexican cokes, and Aqua de Horchata. After the first bite I knew I would definitely be coming back for another visit. From having your own personal green & red salsa to the exemplary customer service,
“Tacos El Barrio” is the place to be!

Nothing special about the tacos here. The service was cold. The food was bland. The sauces were bland not spicy at all. Tortillas were not even greased. If you make the trip out here at least go next-door through the drive-through and pick up a Michelada spicy.

This place has authentic Mexican food. We ordered one chicken taco, the gringa Al pastor, the Alambre which has bistec, bacon, cheese with green peppers and onions. The food was delicious and tasteful. The prices and customer service were great as well. We’ll be back soon.
