Doña Lena started selling her delicious tacos in her hometown Salamanca Guanajuato, Mexico in 1985. She moved to the USA in the 1990’s where she continued her taco business from her home. In 2019, after many years of hard work and sacrifice her dream of having her own restaurant finally came true . People have enjoyed her authentic street tacos for many years and and now you can too. Brought my family because this place was featured in the News stated being the best Mexican food. Here is our opinion.. my wife likes the Soy pastor, my Mom got one lengua one tripa she was ok with the tripa but not happy with lengua. Now me.. I got one tripa Good flavor but it can be more crispy, one asado de puerco this is sooo hot that I wasn’t able to pick up any flavors nota good experience, one chile negro this was ok now the last one was carne Asada, this got nothing to do with Carne Asada this was bland no flavor whatsoever, cold meat weird texture. Now the atmosphere is great a little cold inside but nice in the patio. Friendly staff I believe the costumer service was the good part about this experience.

A true hidden gem! This small mom-and-pop birria spot serves incredibly flavorful, tender birria with a homemade touch you can taste in every bite. Friendly service and authentic food make it absolutely worth a visit.

We’ve been here a couple times and it’s just keeps getting better each time! Service is more than great, their Quesabirrias are amazing! We love visiting this place. Is a small restaurant and is always packed but they have two locations which is great, it only means they have the best Mexican food in town! It will always be our #1 taco place!

Every weekend, we do a “Tacos Weekend” with my husband, and this place is always our favorite.
I always get three tacos:
Barbacoa – Soft, juicy, and full of flavor.
Fried Tripe – Crispy and delicious. Great texture!
Lengua– Very tender. Tastes amazing with lime.

This place was recommended to me and it did not disappoint. I got the Birria quesadillas and they were great. From the time you walk in the door the staff was very friendly and attentive.
