This was my first experience with Vietnamese platter and it was refreshing. Having such a great food joint near one’s workplace and/home is great. I had tried both take-away and dine-in options here. For multiple dine-in,once I had Chicken Pho which came with rice noodles and chicken in broth topped with fresh cilantro brunches and sliced red onion rings; I had Pho with crunchy sprouts, hot slices of jalapeños and sliced limes. The Pho made me so full !! But was tasty, lighter and refreshing. The crispy dumplings were good, be it pork or chicken and one must have it with the hot sauce (orange color). I tried Tempura Shrimp once – it came with sweet and sticky rice topped with 5-6 fried large shrimps and 2 vegetable crispy dumplings. Chamomile tea after such dinner was just wonderful.

I love ramen and you can probably tell from some of my posts but there nothing better than the OG from Japan. However, since I am now here in San Antonio, I try to check out some of the local ラメンや ramen shops and I just tried the Angry Hakkasan ramen and it was delicious and I ordered them with extra chashu because why not???… The broth was rich and tasteful and had all the right ingredients like the shitake mushroom. So no complaints about the .. my only issue was the dumplings!!! The menu has them as “dumplings” instead of gyoza , that was a clue already that it wouldn’t be cooked the way I like it. Sure enough, it was fried instead of the typical seared and steamed. So, again, no complaints about the taste but it is not the same to as I am used too. Anyways, you guys should definitely try this place and they have bobba and other stuffs in the menu…

Well it was my very first time here. I heard about this place from my brother. Him and I went on a lunch date. Damn the food is great. Service is great. They are more than welcome to answer any questions about the dishes they have. This was an awesome experience and I will definitely be back again!

Seriously the best food in the area. Had ramen, pho, boba tea, appetizers here. It all slapped harder than anything I’ve had in the state of Texas. I love it here. Super nice staff. Cool merch. Cool grocery area. Definitely will be coming back in the future.

I was in the Med Center area and stopped by @suckittherestaurant to order food to go. I had known about the restaurant for a while but hadn’t tried it until now. It’s one of the participating restaurants for AAPI Month. I showed the passport and got 10% off!

If you love craft ramen, don’t hesitate to check this place out! The food is incredible, the staff are friendly, the only downside is the atmosphere. Let’s get this out of the way, it’s in a medical center just across from UT Health Science Campus, and it’s not the kind of place you’d want to hang out. If this place were at the Rim, you’d be waiting 45 minutes for a table.

This is a great place if you can’t have gluten. The food was delicious and quickly served. The server went above and beyond for our experience. Plus, we got boba to go, and it was also very good. Will definitely come back soon. 10/10

First off, they don’t pay any attention when guests walk in, and once they do, they’ll ask any random person they see first for their name instead of asking, “Who was here first!” We literally got skipped by two guests that arrived post we did. And, even though we told her later, she still sat them before us. It is chaotic seating; I guess. When one guest heard us say we were here before, she was kind and said we could be seated before them, but the gal didn’t listen and sat them prior because different waitresses are checking people in and not paying any attention. We arrived at 1:25 as my Life 360 said, and we didn’t get sat until 2:23. We left until 3: 11. It was an awful careless environment that doesn’t care about its guests to assure there are no confrontations between their guests who are all hungry and just like to follow the appropriate order of what’s fair. I’m definitely not upset at the customers who went before us; it is an organizational issue, and I’m glad we were all cordial about it, but it isn’t right. Right off the start and the long wait, I was disappointed in this little hole on the wall that I wanted to try based on the name that is a catch and made me laugh. Anyhow, once they sat us which was a long haul, every minute that transpires makes us feel like we might as well wait longer if we already waited this long, so we stay. The food came pretty fast. We ordered a Chicken and Barbacoa Pho. It had very little barbacoa, not kidding. And the little it had were just bits of fat I couldn’t eat, and I love barbacoa. The chicken fajita pieces were actually tasty but I couldn’t imagine the combo together, so I was disgusted even though I ordered it. I think the fat pieces of barbacoa did it. The flavor of the Pho was pretty good; I can’t complain there. The broth had a decent taste, but they don’t serve it steaming hot. It was actually cold. I didn’t like that at all. I like my Pho’s hot. The Spicy Bexar had corn and a piece of Tempura Shrimp. It was spicy and pretty decent. My daughter liked it. The Royal Egg rolls were the best. They give you five. I enjoyed those the most and more than my Pho. They were actually delicious and homemade. The Lavender milk tea was phenomenal, totally recommend it, and the Macha tea was great as well. Our server was nice, too. I definitely would try this one time if you haven’t tried it. I know once was enough for me after the barbacoa minimal meat that turned out to be fatty pieces, but it isn’t a bad place when it comes to taste of food.

Great service, atmosphere, cleanliness, and high quality foods! The servers were very friendly and attentive to their guests. My personal favorite was the Hakkasan which had excellent flavor. The boba teas were quite delicious as well and it’s close to the medical center. Perfect for an after work treat!

Food is delicious. They have good ingredients, and the flavor is good, which is just about right. I do wish they had spice bombs to add that level of heat to the ramen.
