Best fish tacos in the area. Chicken and birria tacos are also amazing. Shrimp tacos are also flavorful. Lots of varieties of salsas available and they are all delicious. Their pickled carrots are worth mentioning.

Had the $1.99 tacos Al Pastor on Tuesday. Fresh ingredients and friendly staff here. Salsa bar is awesome. Numbered salsas have an ingredient and spice chart. They got some HOT ones. To go order was brought out to me as I waited. This is a new business center several other places near by. I’ll be back

First no simple substitutions and they don’t put guacamole on the tacos?? The meat tasted old and dry even with salsa. Do yourself a favor and go to fridas or he’ll even drive to tj tacos

Oceanside now has a new option for tacos and other Mexican dishes.
Introducing Tacos Don Paco.

Tacos Don Paco, is branching out from their location in Vista and bringing all of their famous salsas & recipes with them.
They are located in a very strategic location that is on Rancho del Oro, just north of Oceanside Blvd, & inside a shopping center that will also be feeding those who will be attending events at the FRONTWAVE ARENA nearby.

Tacos Don Paco is known for many great dishes & they’re also known as the Home of the Salsas.
They have a pretty solid selection on their menu, which ranges from : soft-shell tacos, hard-shell tacos, rolled-tacos, burritos, gorditas, sopes, quesadillas, nachos, tortas, mulitas, tostadas, fries & even menudo.

They also carry a wide variety of meats: adobada, carne asada, Al pastor, lengua , cabeza, carnitas, tripas, birria, chorizo, chicken, shrimp, machaca & even fish.

Because they are known for their salsas, there’s a lot to choose from, with varying degrees of heat, intensity, & flavor.
I shared a video of them in this review.

Their interior is extremely basic, with not much decor or ambiance, but it is spacious and great for family seating.
Their bathroom was clean & simple too.

The one downfall that I can see to this place is their parking situation.
Although they have a few spaces directly in front, and there are parking spaces in the main center lot; If it ever gets really busy here, I can tell it will be difficult to find a spot, and it will be a tight fit.

But since the interior ambience doesn’t lend towards dining-in to eat; I’m thinking this may not be an issue if many customers simply get their orders TO-GO.

The customer service was friendly, and only had one lady behind the cashier.

All in all, I think that Tacos Don Paco is a very solid contribution to Oceanside’s inland dining scene.
Although many may find their prices higher than other taco spots, this is to be expected with their location, and they also have Taco Tuesday Special Price deals ($1.99).

This is right next to where I work so it was convenient and that’s it. It was way over priced, small portioned and barely had any flavor I was thinking maybe it was like a healthy Mexican spot or something but it’s not. On top of that it took way too long to make a burrito. I even tried it twice because everyone has there off days. But it still wasn’t worth it. Im a San Diego native and have had the best Mexican food you could eat. All you’re paying for here is convenience. Not flavor. It’s a skip for me.

The most authentic tasting tacos I’ve had in Oceanside and its surroundings (I know how an authentic mexican taco tastes), great salsas, great flavors, will definitely come back.

Wanted to find a bomb burrito place near me, and I found it. I got a carne asada burrito, and the asada was perfectly seasoned. There was a lot of meat in the burrito. The salsas we had were amazing too. My husband had a machaca torta, and it was bomb, too. With all this good food steak, we are hopeful to try their homemade menudo!
