This was some of the okay-est vegetarian food I’ve had in Portland. Yes, they have vegetarian options, but I wasn’t impressed with the momos or the tofu chow mein. Both were kinda greasy and not really that awesome. If you’re in Portland, there’s so many better vegetarian options out there.

I really love getting the chai tea and tropical salad. The women are always so kind and helpful. Ive also gotten the momo and chow mein and liked them both a lot.

Got the vegetarian momos. Staff is friendly. Food came out right at the time they said it would. Momos were quite good! The sauces they give really elevate the food.

We ordered veg chowmein and chicken momos. The lady at the counter was super nice and helpful. She made sure to ask if we need fish and oyster sauce for chowmein if we are ordering Veg or else she can make them in veg base sauce. Chowmein tasted good, and it came with chili oil. Chicken momos were ok types, but it did come with green mint chutney, another sauce as well. I also confirmed if food was Nepalese or not (Lady is from Tibet and made some nice flavors of food).

My boyfriend and I were in Portland on July 4th and craving Nepalese food. We ordered chicken momo, chicken chow mein, chicken choila, and momo sauce for pickup (surprisingly, the sauce needed to be bought separately ). Our usual spot was closed for the holiday, so we tried a new place.

Unfortunately, the food was quite disappointing. The momo tasted like frozen dumplings, the chow mein was like packet noodles with too much oil, and the choila was just chicken with rice and Chana cucumber and didn’t taste great. We ended up throwing everything away. The price of food was also very high compared to others and was not worth paying that much dollars. We were very upset with the food.

The lady who was there was very friendly, but the food just didn’t hit the mark. If you’re Nepalese, I’d recommend skipping this place. I won’t be returning.

Delicious!! I ordered the dumplings with chicken. They are very filling and come with a side salad. I will be back for more. I did not even finish my meal because it was so filling. Very healthy and veggie options to sub for meat. I also got to sample the chai tea, it was perfect on this chilly sunny day.

Namo has the best Himalayan food in town! Love the momos and chicken curry. Have been stopping by this cart over the last few years, first when they were in Gresham, and now in Woodstock at the Heist. Great food and the sweetest people!

I got the chickpea curry roti and it was literally almost entirely just rice. The flavor wasn’t there and barely any chickpeas were given. Based on the great reviews this place has all mentioning female workers I’m presuming that the bad quality was due to the guy working there today. My partner got a chicken fried rice that had about 5 pieces of chicken throughout it. Our stomachs hurt from eating the food as well 🙁

We ordered the pan-fried momo dumplings here and were amazed at how good it was. It did take a while to get as they had to steam it first and then pan fry it afterward. The flavors of the dumplings were great, and it was juicy inside.

This is a tough review to write. The momos were beautifully crafted. The momos and condiments *tasted* delicious. But I’ve never been served a disheveled heap of momos, mostly upside down or sideways, some already broken, steamed so long that each fell apart when I picked it up. A plate of momos presented with care is beautiful, worth of admiration, an exquisite way to begin a meal. Since I was going to eat them on the spot, I’d have much preferred them arranged on a paper plate instead of crammed into a plastic tub. I’ll try this cart again because it has great potential, but for the price I won’t want their momos again overcooked in a heap.
