Best Mexican food by far. Born and raised in San Diego, been searching for a Mexican spot that can compare and this one might just be better. Don’t come here if you’re looking for some bland American/mexican food. This place is the real deal.

These tacos are absolutely disgusting. I ordered to-go. The chicken and beef “tacos” I ordered weren’t even inside their shell. And of course I didn’t receive any utensils or napkins. I purchased a soda with a cap on it, and no one ever offered to remove it for me. So, I bloodied my hand trying to take it off myself. Like a fool, I gave a tip without seeing what I was getting. This food was inedible, as in the soft shells were not thoroughly cooked. Never again will I eat here!! El Espolon will forever be my go-to.

From out of town, stopped in on a Tuesday evening, end of July, recommended by a local, not busy, very open, cultural, has TV games on, colorful, ordered the chicken tacos & grilled fajitas, soooo much food, had trouble finishing, great stop, gotta try!!! Thanks, Tacos Degollado!

Hidden gem for good tacos and quesadillas. Extremely budget friendly. Food was great, service was great. Got the chicken quesadilla. It was stuffed with chicken, good quality cheese, and flavor. My only disappointment was the chips and salsa. Salsa was super mild and the chips weren’t that fresh chip taste just bagged chips.

This is the REAL deal. Unassuming store front, same on the inside. I got the margarita and the queso and knew everything else would be great, especially after I saw a real live fixins bar. Oh helllllls yea. EVERYTHING super fresh. Pico, guac, even radish on the bar! Multiple homemade and name brand hot sauces, always a plus. Burrito was insane. This small town is lucky to have this place. Not expensive. By far the best real Mexican food for the price this gringo has ever had. Can’t say enough.

Go for the TACOS! I can get quite a spread for under $10. Very pleased so far (I’ve only been there twice). Polite staff and good sauces compliment the tacos. I can’t wait to explore the menu a little further on my next visit.

The staff was friendly. One waiter and i assume one cook. I ordered 2 grilled chicken soft tacos and a california burrito. The burrito was a good size and tasted good. The tacos were like mini tortillas and literally just had chicken. Lol i was kind of surprised and had to take pictures. Lol wont let me add pictures lol
