I’m in the neighborhood often, so this has become a weekly stop for me. The standout is the house “Taco Chuki” — their signature al pastor. What makes it special is the thick, juicy grilled pineapple paired with the savory pork and melted cheese. The sweetness from the pineapple really balances the meat, and that pineapple only comes with this specific taco. If you’re coming here, this is the item to order.
I also appreciate that tipping is optional and not heavily prompted during checkout. It creates a more relaxed, no-pressure experience compared to many fast-casual spots.
That said, I do think the rest of the menu doesn’t quite match the strength of the house taco. While the Taco Chuki is a 5/5 for me, some of the other tacos fall closer to a 2–3/5. If you don’t eat pork or cheese, there may be stronger options elsewhere.
I did have one uncomfortable experience where there was confusion about a water bottle I had brought in (it happened to be the same brand they sell). It was resolved, but it left me feeling a bit awkward. I’m sharing this in hopes management can ensure customers feel approached with a bit more curiosity before assumptions are made.
Overall, if you’re going for the cheesy al pastor, you’ll likely leave happy. That signature taco is what keeps me coming back.
The food is really affordable here which makes it a good place to come if you’re on a budget and eat meat. I say this because both their vegetarian options are not as great – they nice enough but I know places where the veg tacos are better, so I’d rather go there instead.
On the other hand, all of their other tacos are absolutely amazing and super flavorful.
Service is quick and we were in and out of there in 25 minutes.
-1 star for putting cilantro on my food even when I hit the no cilantro button. you can order up front or on the tablet. You take a number and they will drop off the food at your table.
The horchata was underwhelming. It taste like powder and kind of watery.
Food came out within 10 minutes. You bus your own tables. When I was there I didn’t see the tables get wiped down.
There is no parking lot. You can park on union but probably easier to park on the side streets.
The food is delicious, fresh and made to order. I typically order the Carne Asada Mulitas. They are two tortillas put together like a quesadilla filled with streak, onions, cilantro and guacamole. I always open them up and add lime. Deelish!
For a fast food location… I would say that it’s always very clean and the staff are always nice. Definitely five stars in my book. Great place for a quick bite!
