I love Tacos Atilano. It’s one of my favorite Mexican food trucks. However, yesterday, 8/17/25, was not a good experience. I got a steak quesadilla and a side of beans & rice. There was hair in my quesadilla. And then, I was about to take a bite of my beans, and I spotted a piece of wire (see pic below) in my beans. I immediately threw the rest away. I am extremely disappointed because this is my favorite place, but now I’m scared to eat from here again.

We absolutely love tacos atilano in Sherwood!! But today was awful I order our food and say a quesadilla de azada no onion or cilantro the cashier responds with “why would a quesadilla have onion and cilantro” I say ok and finish my order and ask if they have tap to pay and say says “if you read the window it says tap to pay accepted” we get our order and it’s wrong our tacos that we asked for only cilantro have nothing and the ones we asked for nothing have cilantro and onion and our tripa is super soft basically raw and we asked for extra crispy i politely go up and explain what’s wrong and she says “I repeated your order twice you get what you get” she never repeated my order. The cook guy gave me cilantro for my tacos because she refused to fix it AWFUL customer service.

I ordered via door dash. I really enjoyed their tacos! I ordered the carne asada, al pastor and lengua. Each taco was overflowing with meat. I usually judge a Mexican street taco place by the taste of their carne asada. Theirs was very flavorful and not too dry. I also enjoyed the two salsas they had. The red was a little more spicy and Smokey. I topped my tacos with both the red and green salsa together. I can’t wait to continue eating here!

i just had the BEST burrito i have probably ever had in my life! no joke! it was my first time to try something different than just the tacos and boy I tell you what you can tell that the rice and their beans are made from scratch. It was hot. It was fresh. It was absolutely delicious. I know I keep saying that, but I mean I was blown away about how good this burrito was definitely worth a try if you’re in town

The food was OK. I am from Texas and have had many street tacos. The torta, I had was ok also. This was the closest place with street tacos so thought I would try it out. I wouldn’t go out of my way though.

After a long flight home I just wanted to eat, shower and go to bed. I wanted tacos and thought I would try Tacos Atilano for the first time since I always pass them while driving by. I parked, walked up and said hello, a short and stubby Hispanic guy asked me what I wanted to order. No smile, no hello, no greeting, no nothing welcoming at all. Okayyyyy.
I ordered the 3 Quesabirria tacos and asked for light cheese, he repeated what I asked but gave me a weird look like I asked for something out of the ordinary with the light cheese. I paid, I added a tip (which I shouldn’t have) and he turned around and walked away. Again no customer service like “thank you” or “it’ll be a few mins and we’ll call you when it’s ready”. Nothing.
I got back in my car and after 10 or so mins the other guy inside waved at me, I went to the window and the little guy handed me my food without saying a word.
The tacos had ALOT of pieces of fat on them. Seasoning was good but no one wants majority fat over beef. I couldn’t even finish the 3rd taco because of this. The consome was very pale and lacked flavor.
All in all I won’t return or recommend. As a first time customer it wasn’t a good experience. I felt like I was bothering them by being there. There was no customers service or just general niceness at all. Why have a restaurant if you are going to treat people like they are inconveniencing you? Or is it just certain people ?
