Im on vacation and asked for the best tacos in San Diego, your place was at the top of the list. There were 3 of us and pretty darn hungry! Everything we ordered was on point, very onolicious and made to order. I definitely got my authentic taco fix and will return next time I’m in SD!!

First time visiting Tacos Asadero. Pretty good establishment. Food was good. I got 3 tacos. The Asada, Adobada, and Birria. My favorite was the Birria. Found that to be pretty flavorful especially with the Consomme. Speaking of the Consomme, it was the BEST part of the meal for me!! You will actually drink the stuff after your tacos have been eaten! Didn’t care all that much for the Asada to be honest. May just been an off day but as mentioned previously if I go back it’ll be for the Birria with the Consomme

4.5 stars. Great service. I do wish the salsas were spicy, I felt like they could of tasted better. The tortillas in the other hand are delicious. Definitely recommend but be ready to spend $4 per taco.

I’ve heard good things about this place. The person who took our order was behind a glass window and spoke to us with an amplified speaker on the window that was way too loud. They got our order mixed up but there were 4 of us. It was a hot day and the sit down inside was small and near the kitchen so we sat outside. Tacos were very greasy so we asked for extra napkins and she gave us a couple more so we needed to keep asking a few more times. The ice in our drinks melted fast in the heat which was okay but asking for ice came with a warning about paying extra for ice.

– Information worth sharing. Went in to make a to-go order and was helped lovely young lady. Multiple keystroke entries and a confirmation read back for our order due to the removal of onion and cilantro on each order. Weird, I know since that’s half of the ingredients this place uses. I leave a significant tip, per usual, assuming all is well. Get home, open up our orders, and they are all smothered in onions and cilantro… my wife calls to let them know of the error, just as a heads up, and the same young lady that took our order was very sweet, apologized, and said they would credit back our card. We thought that was very generous and thanked her, and was told we would need to come back tomorrow to do so. My wife takes them up on the offer, grabs my debit card, and returns the next day, only to be told she needs to come back again when the manager is in. So, she returns the next day, which was today, July 3, and the same man that told her to return was there with “the manager”. Long story short, he told her she would have to had returned with the food, even though it was two days later, and even though the cashier politely asked her to come back the next day, and yet again the following day by the “non manager”, just to be told by the “real manager”, who refused to speak to my wife, but oddly had the other guy translate, just shrugged his shoulders and said no, even though both of his employees were aware of the situation, and asked her to return, two days in a row.

Wow – This place is fantastic! We only tried two tacos, both were great but their namesake is off the charts. I would have happily eaten a vat of that spicy pork. The people there are super friendly, the front counter, the cooks – everyone is amazing! Oh, and get the soup – it’ll put a smile on your face for the rest of the day.

I always get take-out, and have NEVER received an order that was incorrect. They know what they’re doing and I’ve enjoyed everything I’ve ordered very much! I’ve had to wait for my order a few times because it wasn’t quite ready, but in less than 5 mins I was out the door with my food each time.
